I dont think Gabi was targetted, but rather she was moving around a huge area to cover for others at specific rotations, sometimes Gabi and Bajema just stand right next to each other at the moment of reception, and Gabi took the ball. They have planned the passing well

I don’t blame her, it was clear she couldn’t swing as she wanted due to her back injury. It was especially obvious in the latter sets, she couldn’t even fully scratch her arms backwards like she’s used to when approaching for a swing.
It’s on Ferhat, it’s not day one she’s dealing with this injury, but he has no second plan at all and not even trying anything when losing the TL finals. After a week it’s still the same.That's fair, I didn't hear about her injury. Regardless I don't think anyone could stop Egonu today tbh. Even in a tiebreak VB would win imo. Hande and Voronkova finally had a good match though as well as Maja finally connecting with the middles, now that she is leaving

Mamma mia Paoletta, che spettacolo! Well done to Vakifbank, a season of trials and tribulations, but they ended it in the best way possible. It wasn't as successful as the previous campaign, but it was nearly impossible to be perfect once again. Commiseration to Eczacıbaşı, all those Oh, so near's wear you down for sure, but opportunities must be taken when given to. That first set really put at complete ease Vakifbank and from there it was a very different match. Pity because they enjoyed a good contribution from a bit of unsuspected players like Heyrman and Baladın, but when two key players like Ognjenović and Bošković had a bad day like this, the mountain to climb is way too steep.
