I suppose if Himeji was here instead of regular Toyota, then it would be...new Kurobe vs regular Kurobe, and you'll switch sides again
I had to think for quite a while about who was who before I made that post ... because I've forgotten who is who and who I'm rooting for
-
I forgot how good Tominaga's serve is.
For a second, just a second, Nakajima looked like Uchiseto but someone blocked her and then it's over lol Nakagawa comes in to replace her
-
Nakagawa remains mild and awful I tried to like her so hard since she seems the nicest out of the Saga bunch but plain mediocrity

I was a bit like that too, in the beginning...its my first season watching Japan league and I mixed up everything...even teams in V1 and V2 and of course I forgot which team I supported in the previous week

shes not at all awful, just slower and less powerful. she's not good with fast sets but then again so is sakae. making her play as op made her mediocre. she's far better off on the left

She's been pretty destructive tonight, that's for sure

Initially when she first started in the NT she had a great hooked swing that made Nomoto and Imamura looking limp af but that disappeared for some reason it gave her swing more impact. She can't even jump high. She's looking more and more of an MB than Shion.

I wish Uchiseto would retire
-
Anyone think Tominaga will make her way back to the NT?
-
Thanacha come on

i want manabe to try her instead of momii but i doubt we'll see any changes in setters. her and seki are the type of setters that are listeners instead of the feeling type like momii and matsui
-
No one pointed this out but this Saga weekend match is noisier than usual? That one guy who isn't Sakai or any of the staff keeps shouting at the players. Don't tell me that shoe guy is back
-

I hope she stays longer in Japan. I like her A LOT

you have to say more about that some time . I haven't heard that description before, and am not sure how to parse it (maybe in the NT thread we could bang it around)
I was just thinking her experience would be nice. She seems brain-y to me. The kids have their charm but make me a little nervous when things get hairy

she's cool but seems to hesitate a lot
I hope she learns how yo do proper feint

I don't know if you were able to follow the drama with Wolosz saying Maja was the worst setter years ago but she herself said that they're both the "feeling type" only Maja doesn't give a damn and the spiker has to go with her flow not theirs and that's not Wolosz style. I think that's how it is with aggressive setters in that in their own world when they're on the court they feel things not what spikers tell them to do or something like that. I'm bad at explaining these things
