There is no such a thing as a 15 straight wins. Only 12 games total, cut will be done before VNL finals, right after regular games of VNL.
hence win quarterfinal and semifinal and final. 12+3=15

Sometimes it is said that Nikola Grbic as the head coach of Polish NT got the success due to the "luck" (Polish good volleyball environment, Leon returned NT and so on).
Now, Winiarski also got the luck, didn't he? Just when Germany lost to China in VNL 2023, Winiarski was thought to be a loser as a coach by us...
At least we don't think it is lucky that Grozer returned NT and just, Grozer, returned, German NT...

But Leon didn't play all matches, like VNL finals, so he was not the main factor. Grbić is a good coach and he has luck that Poland has many good players. So you need really many factor to win 3 competitions during a season.
Also Germany growing up with their quality had also luck that Brazil or Italy lost their shapes, but anyway Germany was good at the tournament.
Retrospectively speaking, while Belgium has been (understandably) choking the whole match, originally they still could have taken down Bulgaria in the final moment when they leveled 13:13. What’s unexpected is that it’s Penchev burying their hope with a challenging OOS spike and then a block point. That’s not his normal standard
