2023/2024 Transfers News, Rumors & Discussion

  • Perrin after a luckluster season in Verona has returned in Novosibirsk.

    I’m curious about Thelle too.

  • This Vibo withdrawal… so Ram Takahashi will not play in Italy next season?

Little OT, but it's a sad news, just a couple of seasons ago Vibo Valentia was a tricky team to play against and fun to watch (Chinenyeze, Neto, Rossard, DeFalco). Kind of concerning for Superlega too, it's the second year in a row that the team conquering the promotion renounce.

This was really a sudden move. Vibo made a roster this year that could compete for some national titles here in Europe, they had Santi Orduna, Buchegger and Candellaro. Last year they had Flavio, Nishida, Borges and many others. Really, really strange decision.

Oh, asbolutely, they had a nice roster already to have a serious chance to avoid relegation and maybe even something more. Pity. At least it seems they'll continue with youth teams and for a region like Calabria I think is a good news.

Not really weird when Callipo in the last september had to stop production of tuna for one day in the week, in order to save the company because the energy cost (electric power and gas) was 500% higher than the same period of the previous year.

It was about saving the company (and its employees) or the team.

  • Nicola Zonta (from Fano) will be Milano’s 2nd setter next season.

  • In Japanese V.League annoucements

Yuji Nishida, Masahiro Yanagida and Longhai Chen of JTEKT are all leaving. JTEKT also got rid of their coach Federico Fagiani as well.

    Taishi Onodera left JT Marvelous.

  • Srecko Lisinac in Projekt Warszawa next season!

Hope that he can be healthy, really great players but this year he missed the most important games…

  • In the warm-up on May 27, Masahiro Yanagida reminded Deng Xin-peng to take the tactical board.

    Therefore, ...

My favourite roster of Chinese (in 2022)
    male NT:
    S - Yu Yao-chen, Chen Lei-yang
OP - Jiang Chuan, Dai Qing-yao
    OH - Zhang Jing-yin, Yu Yuan-tai, Liu Li-bin, Fu Hou-wen
    MB - Zhang Zhe-jia, Peng Shi-kun, Li Yong-zhen, Jiang Zhen-yang
    L - Yang Yi-ming, Yang Tian-yuan

    female NT:
    S - Yao Di, Diao Lin-yu
    OP - Gong Xiang-yu, Sun Xiao-xuan
    OH - Li Ying-ying, Wang Yi-fan, Wu Meng-jie, Zhuang Yu-shan
MB - Yuan Xin-yue, Wang Yuan-yuan, Zheng Yi-xin, Liu Yu
    L - Ni Fei-fan, Xu Jia-nan

  • Catania has surprisingly done a good market session, they will fight for relegation, yes, but they built a pretty good team.

    Santi Orduna-Buchegger

Manavi/Basic- a foreign OH (and they clearly need a good OH if they want to be in SL next season)

    Tondo-Bossi

    Cavaccini (L)

Taranto’s team seems superior, so I think they will fight with Padova (Falaschi, Gabi Garcia, Gardini, Cardenas/Desmet<X) and Cisterna (Saitta, Faure, Bayram and we don’t know anyone else).
