In history, before 2017, Wang Yun-lu was a good OH.
As the main OH of U18 NT, she was the member of the winner of U18 NT.
In 2015, she joined the senior NT as a "server".
However, in 2018, it was said that Wu Yong-mei, the former head coach of Bayi VC, was fired just about her.
Fans all thought due to it, she will not be in NT forever.
Until Cai Bin chose her in 2022, she returned NT after 6 years (2016 Montreux) though due to the injury, she only play three matches in Season 21/22 and Beijing got the 13th place.
I understand. She must've had good potential, but now, after how many years, that potential has not been realised or her abilities haven't improved accordingly. Hence, she must go. That's how it goes when you're in a competitive setting.

I don't remember her having a stellar performance a few years back when she was in the NT, but she got worse??

Scandicci is through to the Finals of the Italian Women's League, and they just won the 1st of 5 rounds against defending champions Conegliano. I hope they can go all the way! They had a bit of a hiccup during the 2nd and even 3rd set, but they recovered and continued to dominate until the 4th set. Sadly, in the 4th set, Conegliano showed why they are the defending champions, and fought back to force a rubber. The 5th set was so scary for Scandicci when they were trailing 4-5 points at first, then they fought back to win. Amazing.
Watched a few matches in the Italian league, but it's really competitive there. Team spirit seems to be very important, and that's how comebacks happen within the same set or even in the rubber set. What a great league.
Zhu Ting also looks promising in her return to full-time volleyball. Glad to see she's no longer "too conscious" about her wrist condition - this will be a defining factor as we go into the Olympics.
