Transfer news and rumors season 2009/10

  • :what: such a rich and big club i though they are doing fine with their financial :S
how many foreign player Vakifbank has??

Anyone can support a team that is winning - it takes no courage. But to
stand behind a team to defend a team when it is down and really needs
you, that takes a lot of courage.

  • It's four if Poljak will play for Vakifbank: Jelena Nikolic, Debby Stam, Kinga and Poljak. I think Poljak and King will play in turn in Turkey but can play together in IECL.

Turk Telekom has no financial problems because it's monopol in Internet service providing and other telecommunication stuff and its net profit is so high maybe the highest one in the country. Telekom has also a basketball club and it's the third strong basketball team after Efes Pilsen and Fenerbahce in Turkey. They spend big money every year for Volleyball and Basketball. It 's so hard to understand what Telekom administrators try to.

  • Official:

Sanja Tomasevic and Brizitka Molnar will be the outside hitters of Panathinaikos the next year.Maria Chatzinikolaou passes from Olympiakos Piraeus to Panathinaikos.

Also,Elena Koleva and Radosveta Teneva-Milisevich will play for Olympiakos Piraeus ,with the very young and powerfull Evaggelia Chantava from Iraklis Thessalonikis.Olympiakos is speaking with Lucie Mulstheinova for the post of the setter and with a Polish setter.

Does anybody knows any news for Jelena Lozancic?

  • Lozancic stars training again.. she should be ok for european championship with france.

  • Sorry but I have to keep this information by request for now but then I will try to write again.

  • And more fresh rumors from Turkish league:

Fenerbahce wants to transfer Maja Poljak who were linked to Vakifbank after news about Turk Telekom closes down its Volleyball club and sells its current players. But Fenerbahce has reached foreign players limit so it's confused.

And there are other rumors which claim that Vakifbank and Turk Telekom will assemble as one club.

  • The rumors about the Turkish team Turk Telekom are finally official.

Turk Telekom has officially closed out its volleyball branch. However, they will be a sponsor for the Turkish team Vakifbank Gunes Sigorta. On the other hand, the players Turk Telekom already signed a contract with (such as Maja Poljak, Pelin Celik, Olga Tocko, Nilay Konar, Guldeniz Onal) will be asked to find a club for themselves.

It's really sad news. Shame on the Turk Telekom administrators!

  • It makes no sense that Telekom and Vakifbank assemble. Vakifbank doesnt need any sponsor but on the other hand there are many clubs need a strong sponsor like GS, BJK and Karsiyaka. I think it's not a good idea for Turkish volley and power balances in the league. There are 3 teams in the very top now and it's impossible other teams to compete this triad neither financially nor capability.

  • Transfer news from Turkish League.
Jasna Majstrovic (OH) and Yagmur Kocyigit (OH) join in Besiktas roster. It's official.

  • Joanna Kaczor will probably play in Piacenza  Asia has many offert from different league (Korea Turkey Russia Italy) but she will probably end in Italy :P

Anyone can support a team that is winning - it takes no courage. But to
stand behind a team to defend a team when it is down and really needs
you, that takes a lot of courage.

  • Hmm maybe Maja Poljak goes to Zarechie Odincovo? Any news from Uralochka? I heard that Yumilka Ruiz maybe play here.

    :gone:

  • Doganjic, Popovic and Avramovic in Rabita Baku

Bojana Doganjic, Aleksandra Avramovic and Silvija Popovic signed new cotracts with National Champion of Azerbaijan Rabita Baku. In the season 2008/2009 they were stopped in quarter finals of GM Capital Challenge Cup. This year they will participate in Cev Cup where they will meet Gwardia Wroclaw from Poland. Rabita has a very strong ambitions in National Championship and Cev Cup.

  • Latest rumours from Italy:

Novara is missing the setter and an outside hitter (Feng?, Tom?)

Perugia is starting to make the team: Togut, Arcangeli and Pincerato were confirmed, Ognjenovic, Citakovic and Leggeri are the first objectives; no news on the outside hitters

Castellana Grotte has huge financial problems, so nothing is certain now; Leggeri, Petraskauite and Quaranta should leave.

Conegliano: misses one middle-blocker (might be Akinradewo) and one outside hitter; there might be there some physical problems also with Brakocevic.

Urbino: the new team of A1 will have Bechis-Havlickova as setter-opposite; Di Iulio should be one of the outside hitters, one between Ruiz (Yumilka) and Petraskauite might be the other one. The middle-blockers will be foreigners (Paraja?, Ana Ibis Fernandez?)

However there is still much time, so nobody needs to hurry

  • US NT setter Nellie Spicer and Netherlands NT opposite player Lonneke Slöetjes signed with Dutch club Heutink-Pollux.

Natalia Alimova left Leningradka for Dinamo Kazan.

Iuliana Nucu left Sassuolo, back to VC 2004 Tomis Constanţa.
