I don't know if this belongs to this tread, but Lubo Ganev scored in Serie A1 5167 pts in 142 matches or 36.3873 pts per match!

I am pretty sure Liberman Agamez holds one of the highest-scoring records in a volleyball game ever. Before he went to PAO he had been playing in a team called Pagrati in Greece. With this team he scored more than 50 (!) points in one game, but I don't know against which opponent or in what season that was.. I hope some of the Greek members here could give me a hint, or maybe quote some stats, because I am sure of it, but don't remember the exact numbers..

Why not best servers in one match? Agamez, Huantorena, Kazyiski and Bratoev made 9 aces in one game

Today in the Japanese Men's V-League the Panasonic Panthers had two teammates with at least 30 points. I am guessing that this is a first.
34 points - Kunihiro Shimizu - Japan - 2010/2011 Japanese V.League Premier League - Panasonic Panthers - Suntory Sunbirds
30 points - Tatsuya Fukuzawa - Japan - 2010/2011 Japanese V.League Premier League - Panasonic Panthers - Suntory SunbirdsThe team scored 122 points, as did their opponents, but lost 3-2 to the Suntory Sunbirds. Suntory first, 32-30, 27-25, 25-27, 21-25, 17-15.
Suntory had 29 faults, so these two guys scored 64 of 93 points.
Shimizu was 30 kills, 4 faults (54 attempts), 3 blocks, 1 ace, 5 service errors
Fukuzawa was 25 kills, 5 faults (40 attempts), 5 blocks, 8 service errors -

http://www.legavolley.it/Stati…ne=1995&Atleta=GAN-LUB-65Raylight, it is before rally scoring and I have stated it has to be during the rally scoring era. This is prior to that.
I saw Joel Despaigne in the Goodwill Games in 1990 in person score like 44 points, but it was in the side-out days. It was amazing to watch.

So I went through the 2005/2006 - 2008/2009 seasons and found these in the 5 set matches (not saying they could have score a lot in 4 sets, but at least covering 5 gets me the most points often )

Brahmin: are you an indian priest? or just born into a holy family?
-
Nope, it is just a play on my last name Brahm. I have traveled to India, but my name was this way before then.
-
Ah okay. So I guess my next question ("do you have 4 arms?") isn't relevant anymore either then?

Only if it could make a bigger wall to block the ball.
