Azerbaijan Superleague 2013-2014

    Rabita looked totally uninterested and played with very little emotion. Rourke has a long way to go in terms of her shot selection until she's really ready to lead a team of Rabita's caliber. Azeryol played very well at all positions. Great to see Parkhomenko healthy again and hope she can maintain her form. Kovalenko also had an awesome match both blocking and attacking. Di Iulio is such a solid all-around player, I really think she deserves a shot at the Italian NT. Lastly, Kozuch's passing has held up far better than I ever imagined and she was hitting quite well from position 4. While I am sure she prefers to go back to OPP, I think at least the German NT has some more options with her development this season in terms of what they're able to do. Without Grun, they may need to play around with their pin hitters.

    I watched some parts of the match and i totally agree with kozuch's passing.For sure she doesnt have a perfect reception percentage but she does a good job indeed.Playing without grün is not a new thing for them and they got 2nd place at last ECH but i wonder if they could have beaten russia with kozuch as OH and hippe on opposite position,the only(but probably the best) thing giovanni didnt try. :rolleyes:

    Over the years he has tried this option several times and also the other way round with Hippe as OH...

    I already thought, it could be a junior player. As far as i know, there´s often one or two junior players in Igtisadchi´s practice.

    Azeryol with their current line-up looks much better than earlier in the season. Igtisadchi, on the other hand.... :aww: Lamas in every match looks like she never practised with the team before, she just can't find her rhythm with the attackers. And once again Buakaew played the whole match even though she was not good at all, every time this season Lenka Dürr got to play she was better than Buakaew but the coach seems to think different. Today I liked McClendon's performance a lot...
