    Super Lucy Bosetti, MVP once again, and 6 blocks by Leggeri.
    From Novara's side bad night for Gilda Lombardo. Kelly Murphy and Rosso did a bit better but they were not enough, Piacenza is too strong as a team even without Meijners.


    In the other match Modena -Casalmaggiore 1-3 8| this is a surprise!
    From stats it seems Perinelli had problems in reception and Rousseaux in attack. Zago and Stevanovic had great numbers instead, good performance also by captain Tina Lipicer.
    Now Pomì Casalmaggiore is 5th in the ranking and dreams of qualifying to a Euro Cup 8o

    Broadcasted by RaiSport1 at 8pm, this match will probably decide which team will be ranked 3rd in the Regular Season final standings, which might mean wild card for next CL? (assuming Piacenza and Conegliano as the teams that will get the 2 main spots by reaching the playoff final..)
    Champions League is the only European competition that Bergamo considers worth to play, but also Modena and its big sponsor will do their best to achieve this goal even though they would not refuse Cev or Challenge Cup. However the absence of Cardullo + several players in not perfect physical condition will make it harder for Modena, but not impossible.

    This match is crucial for the definition of PlayOff Quarterfinals, with both Urbino and Ornavasso fighting for the last available spot (8th place).
    Urbino, a very low-budget team, can celebrate as a success the 9th place already achieved and whatever better result will be considered a Plus. Ornavasso, instead, after solving their financial problems (?) and signing American outstanding OH Logan Tom, would consider 9th place as a failure. The arrival of the American OH is improving more and more Ornavasso team-play, which also relies on Muresan's power attacks and Chirichella's great blocks. On the other hand the main strength of Urbino is reception thanks to libero Carocci and captain Negrini's great passing skills which make the work much easier for Croatian setter Bernarda Brcic (one of the most interesting young talents of Italian League).

    Leading her team to a surprising and unexpected Playoff Final last year was not enough for Letizia Camera to be confirmed as main setter in Conegliano. They preferred hiring the three-years older and much more experiened American star Carli Lloyd, who won everything in Busto Arsizio before getting seriously injured.
    But Carli seems to have fully recovered now and can show they were not wrong to choose her in order to aim at winning the Italian League (also Gibbemeyer's signing in the last weeks clearly means that WINNING NOW is the main and only goal for Conegliano's staff). Former setter Camera, who will be awarded tonight in front of her former crowd, ended up in Pomí Casalmaggiore, young team full of extremely promising talents such as Serbian MB Jovana Stevanovic, Valentina Zago (OPP), Alessia Gennari (OH) and Imma Sirressi (L), but also experienced ones like Lipicer and Taismary Agüero, just come back from maternity. On Conegliano's side Nikolova suffered muscle problems last Sunday, thus it is not sure we will see her on court tonight.

    Stats are correct. Not sure how you can exaggerate an attack percentage. It's simple math of kills/attempts. 14kills/22 attempts = 64%

    Do you think that statistician can deliberately count less amount of spike attemtps only in order to enlarge % in stats? :whistle: maybe they oversetimate some numbers, but I don't think that they do it also for spiking :aww:
