any rosters? are there any A teams here?
-
So we have China B with few players who had episodes in A team - OHs Na Yin, Jing Li, Yanhan Liu; S - Xia Ding, Di Yao and L Qian Wang.
Japan also sent B team.Korea is with their best A team including OH Yeon-Koung Kim and MB Hyo-Jin Yang - exactly the same roster as in WGP, but they won't play in Italy.
Kazakhstan is also with their best A team from WGP (without OH Yagodina and OP/MB German) but for them it's preparation for WCH in Italy.Thailand is with L Wanna, MB Hattaya, S Pornpun and OP/OH/MB Ajcharaporn, OH Kannika and S Soraya from A team so Kiattipong divided team. I wonder if this is team for WCH or for Asian Games in Korea

Checking results from this cup it seems that favourites are kazakhstan, Korea and China B. Japan B should be in semifinals too. Meanwhile Thai A/B team is a joke

I can't believe Manabe is using his Hybrid 6 here in Asian championships...at this rate there will be no more middle blockers on any Japanese team by 2016 lol

What is the difference between AVC cup and Asian championship? Which one is more prestigious?
-
for me, Asian Championship is more prestigious. Because the top 2 winners will qualify for World Cup.
the top few rankings of AVC cup maybe qualifies for WGP, not very sure about that. -
it's common that continental championships are more prestigious than cups for ex. asian championships is more prestigious than asian cup while european championships is more prestigious than european league
-
European League and AVC are not even similar. In AVC cup, best 8 teams compete whereas in European League, generally the teams who cannot participate to European Championship participate

from the past to the future, korea lost china, despite A or B team, despite with or without Kim YK. (except 1 or 2 match)
I don't know how this A team Korea do when they meet B team China at Asiad Inchieon....lost again... if they don't have any new in roster, for sure lost and lost!
Kim YK - Best Opp may be in the future she'll receive Best MB jusst kidding... -
Kim is playing opposite to S because their teammates as OHs are quite weak, especially Song-Yi Han. Kim is still receiving and spiking most often from zone 4, because Korea is using different roatation like Dinamo Kazan (they want to have Gamova using her full force, so she's spiking more often from zone 4 than zone 2), not S-OH1-MB1-PP-OH2-MB2, but S-MB1-OH1-OP-MB2-OH2 thanks to it Opposite is spiking from 4 more often but Kim is still OH and she's still receiving, it's only rotation case
Thanks for awards valentine

3 of the starters for Korea got injured during 3 different matches!

the top few rankings of AVC cup maybe qualifies for WGP, not very sure about that.not to mention that few of the top teams send their A team, right? only korea and kazakh sent their A teams here, but not china, japan or thailand. don't know about the others (vietnam, iran, taiwan).
