Dresden vs Potsdam starting in 20 minutes, stream already up here: https://www.sporttotal.tv/mac411d3d2
Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2020/21

-
Morgan Hentz starting again as libero, but Dürr warmed up normally so I guess she can play if necessary. And Potsdam targets Hentz successfully so far, so Dürr might be needed soon...
-
Potsdam's serving strategy works very well so far and Dresden hasn't arrived in the game yet.
-
Potsdam seem to be using a lot of soft and short serves. Is this normal for them? It's quite unusual but clearly it's working.

It's not their usual game (except for Veltman), but it works very well today.
-
Dürr is on court now
-
Potsdam leads 2:0 now
-
Emonts is playing very well today and Abercrombie also better than in the last match. OTOH I'm not sold on Agbortabi, it was right to bring her when Ruddins struggled in reception but she doesn't contribute in attack at all...
-
Dresden has to change something now....using the middles, another setter...
-
Sarah Straube has really improved Dresden's game
-
So Dresden is the first finalist Potsdam had match points in 4th set but couldn't finish it. Laura Emonts overall played a really good game but became the tragic figure in 4th set, first she couldn't kill the ball on match point and then she gave 4th set to Dresden with two reception errors. Hernandez prepared the team super well tactically but couldn't make the necessary adjustments during the match while Waibl had a very good sense for the right substitutions today.
Stuttgart-Schwerin starting in 20 minutes Agost not in Schwerin's roster and Stuttgart without Lohuis
-
Juliet Lohuis has a stress fracture in her left leg But according to the commentator Stuttgart hopes she might be able to play in the finals if Stuttgart qualifies Sounds way too risky for me!

How many more Dutch players will have this injury!?!
Hope they don't risk anything if it isn't necessary. Health of a player has to come at the first place!
-
Alsmeier is so weak today But what a close 2nd set from beginning till the end!
Rivers today is finally playing her real game, and also Segura and (surprisingly) Todorova are doing very well. So let's see if Schwerin can achieve the same comeback like Dresden earlier or if there'll be a 3rd match tomorrow...
-
I love Szakmaris defense at pos. 6 today she saves a lot of balls
And Stuttgart is really strong in block today
-
That double sub with Stoltenborg and Oude Luttikhuis was a very very bad idea
-

MVP: Krystal Rivers / Anna Pogany
Dresden in final, 3rd match Stuttgart vs Schwerin tomorrow 17:00 on Sport1.
-
Anna Pogany as MVP liberos are so underappreciated most of the time!
I am really exited for the third game tomorrow I want the Schwerin from the first game and the Stuttgart from the second game to meet tomorrow for an exiting match
-
Unfortunately I can't watch tomorrow, but anyway I hope it finally won't be a 3:0 for either team, and may the better team win
-
After struggling so many years it's a great signal that things seem to go so well now in Suhl I hope Claudia Steger will also play another season, IMO her experience can be vital to the team, plus she's like a symbol of the club already
Steger retired and will second Co Trainer next Season

Or it's an April Joke?
