Inoue kinda burned out. Mayu is great in her own way but not for teams that have solid walls on the net. She doesn't even try to avoid blockers.
Uchiseto has to go.

I'm telling y'all KANEDA >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mayu
They had no problem defeating Serbia last year and it's the same squad just with Mihajlovic playing this time

its time

I felt like Japan can't do sudden changes that's why they messed up. Their past matches has been a consistent line up of the same players and when Manabe tweaked it, they got out of rythmn.

Brazilian fans are really piling up on this Japanese players. "Attacking into the block? What kind of theatrics is this. You're not even hiding it." They are so convinced Japan is giving the game away that they want Egonu to run them over next Wednesday.
I don't think Japan intended to lose to Serbia. they really look like they're struggling
Lazovic is cute

Girl targeted Mayu lol

Wtf are you saying of course they don't "intend" to lose against anyone. This is some youtube level trolling.
Girl targeted Mayu lol
Mayu might as well put up a neon sign that said "get me". she was the easy prey. poor girl
Girl targeted Mayu lol
They all did. She's the easiest one. Hayashi just kept hammering.

The only reliable crackhead. Kojima cracked a little.

I was responding to someone talking about Brazilian fans saying Japan may have intended to lose.

That should really say something. Is their plan to exhaust Mayu even if she gets blocked a thousand times over in the hopes that she eventually scores some enough for Japan

That's Inoue's role but this time Hayashi had to double her effort since she was digging and hitting everything going her way.
Manabe is not crazy enough to swap out Mayu for Kaneda let's just accept that. But they could do something about both Uchiseto and maybe Yamagishi Shimamura can always be subcaptain.

Inoue's game burned at this point. they might as well rest her for the next round

I just realized something has Shimamura ever captained NEC?
I'm not going to defend Mayu because I don't really like her and anybody who's been paying attention here for the past few years knows that. From her crying eyes in HS, to stealing the U20 MVP from the far more deserving YOLO, to her loser face with Toray, to ketchup inside an omelette, to her present day hairstyle malfunction
but check the stats. It wasn't Mayu
In the end, I think the whole thing was ugly but not deadly
But Hayashi looked cool, and better than her actual stats. And frankly, that's something. Everybody else looked kind of lost. And that matters
