Why she played OH?
But this mean Germany is weaker(they were 3rd last year) without generation 2006 if she played alone.
This tournament is the previous u16 those girls are playing their first tournament,is expected to be nervous at beggining
I am excited to see France working well in under age categories, they are starting yo battle to enter to european final phases and i hope they can continue after paris

I think for her career it's better to play as OH, with her height (180) she won't make it as OPP on the highest level. Even when she played as OPP she received sometimes and she's not bad, so I like that move.
Italy 0:3 France

This Italian team is really weak, (probably the weakest in the latest years), I don't see them qualified for the Final round of ECH U17
Pretty sure Mencarelli will try to find other talents among this generation.
Ludovica is still decent, but other OHs and Opp are quite mediocre, even for this age. On the contrary, France have some interesting players in the group.
i wouldn't take conclusion now about those teams
This is their first international experience
Italy beat Germany by 3:0 and advanced to semifinal

Italian team played really simple game, set all the balls to zone 4 and let two OHs handle. Opp basically dose not contribute.
Ludovica Tosini carried the whole team, attacking from zone 4 2 and pipe. It's very rare to see an Italian OH who is over 190cm that can pass and attack well at the same time.
I watched a bit Belgium vs Netherland and its was really good level of volleyball, i was surprised considering their age category.
Italy vs Germany i watched first set, when Italy broken Grozer at reception.
First semi Spain 3 : 1 France

Coincidently, for U17 boys, Spain also beat France by 3:2 and won the semifinal yesterday.

Greece just won Balkan Championship u17.
They destroyed Serbia in semi and than beat Turkiye in final (for the second time in the tournament).
Bulgaria won bronze.
Don't know where to put this but people into under age competition probably follow this thread so....
FIVB moves U21 to the same year of U17, then U19 in the following year, which means the junior team will compete in WCH every year in different age category progressively.
