Look where he lands after serve. Damn Efe can fly :super::super::super:

He aced one of his bestie Efe Bayram  He is also an insane blocker (0.53/set), best among non-MB spikers

    Do you think he is performing better as Opp or OH? Considering Adis is very young and will be the main Opp for a long time, I hope he will play as OH full time. I think NT core should be;

    Arda Bostan-Adis Lagumdzija

    Efe Bayram-Efe Mandıracı

    Ahmet Tümer-Bedirhan Bülbül

    Berkay Bayraktar

These players are having great season so far and they are very very young. I think it is time to build a team around these youngsters for next Olympic cycle.

Guldeniz had 50% of perfect passing in the last match. It means Gala is in system half of the times she receives. There's no way you give up on that. The problem is the setter, who wastes all her good job at passing, making pointless her presence on court. The most comfortable player with the setting for Gala is always Kosheleva, simply because of her spiking reach; she can at least adjust and kill the ball some times. The others can't.

Güldeniz's seasonwide perfect passing is 32% and Ilkin 28%. On the other hand, Güldeniz has attacked with 30% whereas Ilkin's attacking was 40%. To Güldeniz's contribution at reception doesn't compensate her lack of offense. Maybe in a team with strong attacking MBs, such a sacrifice would make sense but everyone knows that GS's MBs are not that strong. Moreover, both main attackers of team are playing with high sets. That's why there is no need to get perfect passing. A team like GS that has very limited score contribution from its MBs can not afford to play with second libero on court for the sake of good reception. It makes sense for instance for Nilüfer Belediyesi, or THY but not for GS

By the way, is it possible that Ilkin Aydın signed with another club for next season, that's why Ataman is punishing her? Other than that, I can't think of a logical reason for choosing Güldeniz over Ilkin. It is not like Ilkin is a terrible receiver. Güldeniz's attack var at a reasonable range in earlier seasons (around 30-35%) but this season her attacking is mostly around 20%. She is literally playing like a second libero on the court.:what::aww:

Janset is like Turkish Ruseva. She has been very consistent at blocking in the last 3 years. As mentioned before, she needs to improve her attacking. Also she wasn't lucky with setters she has played in her previous clubs and the current one. I hope she will keep playing either in Aydın or will go to THY/Nilüfer. I think she has the potential to be invited to NT for next Olympic cycle

It seems like Aydın finally reached their top shape at the end of season. This roster made a lot of sense on paper in the beginning of season but for some reason everyone underperformed. It is nice to see finally things started to work for them. I hope they will keep most of the roster next season

I don't think Jegdic ever played in NT, at least not on Senior level. I don't know which other liberos Serbia has besides Popovic and Pusic, but IMO Jegdic is a great player and at least deserves an invitation to NT. When she came to Potsdam she was pretty average but she made incredible progress since then and now for me is definitely among the top 3 liberos of the league.

I think 3rd libero in the loop is Bojana Gocanin (2002) I've watched her once and to me, she looked better than Pusiç but nowhere close to Popoviç's level, especially at reception. That's why I'm curious about whom Terziç will invest for next Olympic cycle

I could see a really interesting transfer summer looking at the libero's in the German league for next season! Germany is one of the only countries without foreigner limit. Next to that Germany has good facilities and you can count on receiving your salary, so playing in Germany is really interesting as a foreign libero.

All top 3 team will have to make some changes probably on the libero position for next season; For Stuttgart Koskelo isn't playing on a high level, Dürr will probably retire and Hentz isn't perfroming as well as expected and Pogany could use a stable back-up as she had in Wong-Orantes last year. In addition all of Bock, Wong-Orantes, Schoot and Jegdic (?) could play in a better team as they do right now. Jegdic I'm sure could play for a top 3 team, but Potsdam always builds a nice team who can fight against those top 3 teams, so not sure if she should leave the team. Also there are some other foreigner libero's who could be able to play in the German league, such as Knip, Todorova, White and Curry.

Excited to see how it all will and up!

I am rooting for Zhana Todorova! I think she could develop into one of the top European liberos. It would be good step to play in German league

By the way, has Jegdiç played in Serbian NT before? It looks like she is having a good season so far. Considering Popoviç will probably retire after OG, she could get the starting position

I was watching all games like the matches with china in wch and danesi +chirichella anulated zhu and best attackers of world

I love danesi and she's the best mb in attack impecable but in block idk she could do the same,we watch lately that she was subbed because of that

The good news is that italy has good backups in case one of them don't perform well

Are you joking? Danesi is more of a blocker than attacking MB

Kinda off topic and I'm pretty sure noone is interested but 2nd league finals are happening, today is the second day. Eczacıbaşı B team is there with their young players who also played the CEV U17 tournament. Players such as Pelin Eroktay, Dalia Wilson, Bianka İlayda Mumcular,Dilay Özdemir, Derin Ezgi Taşdemir. They lost yesterday and they need to win today to promote to TVF 1.lig. I'm dropping a link here anyway.

Thanks for sharing the link! I've watched the game. I'm disappointed with eczacibası youngsters. Especially Derin, she has played in Sultanlar ligi for most part of season. Her reception is a liability even at 2nd division level.

Both Pelin eroktay and Dalia were considered among best players of their generation but their level didn't seem to improve in last 2 years. People were even hoping them to play in Sultanlar ligi this season. It is worrying for NT

this is interesting because he didn't play well this season in our league! :/

Sharifi (and other guys from Urmia) understands Turkish language quite well. maybe that helped him adjusting easily to the situation in Turkey. because other guys like Ghaemi and Kazemi weren't any good there. Kazemi completely disappeared in Turkey. most people don't even remember Kazemi was in the NT only 2.5 years ago!

I was very impressed whenever I've watched Sharifi in last two season. He is soooo explosive in both attacking and serve! And he is still young! I hope he will come back to turkish league!

back injury and most importantly "not playing" for more than a year. when he played first for Bursa that was his first match after something like 18 months! :aww:

he was clubless in Iran for the reason nobody knows ! probably waiting too much for a better offer from Europe. :wall: I won't be surprised if he loses his starting position in the NT, he may not even make it to the Olympics.

I can't understand why but Iranian players never do good in Turkey, that also happens in other sports, Turkey is culturally much more closer to Iran (and geographically of course) some of them even understand the language (Sharifi for example)

Sharifi had a great season, both this season and previous one. He was by far the best server of the league😍

Amir Ghafour had a terrible season in Turkey. Was he coming back from an injury?

No We don't need to wait for the final. We know that Conegliano is the best team with CL or not. This is gone be only crown for perfect season.

Provocation is portraying your personal opinion (or borderline obsession) as a FACT

No we don't know that Conegliano is the best team. You claim that. Yes Conegliano is one of the best club teams currently but It would be stupid to claim that they are the best in the case that they lose the CL final.

I was writing 'the thing that made me happiest about Vakıfbank's win is that Crovolley won't start bashing Turkish team again' but I should never speak too early. He would always find something:aww:
