    what a dreadful match by Japan. they were VERY slow and we all know what Japan base their game on :D Takeshita was so out of rhythm especially with Saori .


    credits to Brazil tho. i really liked Dani Lins sets today lots of running blocks or even without a block and if u have players like Sheila and Mari on the wings they know what to do with good balls like those from brasilian setter


    Anyone can support a team that is winning - it takes no courage. But to
    stand behind a team to defend a team when it is down and really needs
    you, that takes a lot of courage.

    Very good reception from Mari! But today I didn't like block from Brazilian girls, if they will play with team with stronger service I think they will have problems... But anyway today Brazil was playing good, without serious mistakes!

    Brazil played extremly well and won 3-0.. I expected better match but Japan didn't play like in World Championship..I have never seen while Sana was playing such bad.She was the main target of the Brazilian serves.. The hero of the match was Dani Lins for Brazil I think..


    Russia-Cuba was very boring.Both teams couldn't receive effective..Gamova and Goncharova were the bests for Russia.But receiving with 2 players isn't good idea and these players are Makhno and Kuzyakina :what: Russia might have a problem against strong teams.

    Totally agree with you. I didn't like how Russia was playing at all - reception (Russian libero is really weak), block,was not so good as we as we used to see before, and setter today played also bad, but may be because of bad reception.


    About Dani Lins - better then year ago, but she is setting to short ball for Fabiana and Taisa IMO

    its like a brazilian soap :) i didnt see the match so i cannot comment ! maybe they were too concentrated on the match ! as you knnow, you have to distinguish business and privacy :teach:

    Dear German team, welcome to reality :thumbdown: I didn't see the match, but from statistics I read that nothing has changed. It's impossible to be successful without points from position 4. Kozuch isn't the type of player who can win matches alone, at least not consistently. I suppose tomorrow's match vs Brazil will be very painful. Looks like we can say goodbye to final round already after one weekend.
