I agree with you..it is not a bad match so far!
who won the other semifinal?? or do they still have to play it??
It will be later, DOM vs CAN. I think it's at 02:00 CET.

How many wins have Turkey against Russia the last 10 yrs. or so? I dont know, but it would be intresting to know their H2H, if somebody knows...
Who cares last 10 years I just see last couple of years. I remember Tur got a win against Rus last championship, am i wrong? Of course nothing is certain but i think Turkey has more chance tomorrow. This is not a claim or something else. If you look at my message carefully, i said "..began to prevail.." Let's wait and see.
From afar, Wingate (No. 8 from Puerto Rico) reminds me a bit of Strashimira Filipova from Bulgaria.
First set 25:23 for Puerto Rico. Actually I think they are an underrated team, they have very good players and they obviously benefit from their league where many players from USA and DOM are playing.
Having Carcaces instead of Salas would make a big difference for Cuba

thank you!! meanwhile it is 1-0 for Puerto Rico 25-23...

you're right...
I'm impressed how easily PUR receives Santos's serves, she is possibly the hardest server in the world these days.
I hope so too! although Turkey has the home advantage, not to mention that Russia has not had a rest since the tournament began.
Yes, its a problem. Startseva plays actually injured right now, she is a bit hurt but plays anyway because the coach wants so. Also, Gamova have struggled a lot when playing many matches in a row before and ran out of steam, not strange with her big body.
I dont think its the destiny that the turkish girls get the recovery day the day before the playoff games!
Also turkey will obviously have the crowd on their side too, but I hope and think they can prevail anyway if their big stars can perform at their best.
It's really nice to see so much combination plays by Cuba! They are far superior at the net in 2nd set...

Poor Startseva! Hope her injury would not worsen and I hope Russia can perform at their best for two more matches.
2nd set 25:17 for Cuba. Puerto Rico must increase pressure with serves even if they risk some errors, but at the moment they make it waaay too easy for Cuba, they can do whatever they want at the net. And a bit more contribution from Alvarez wouldn't hurt either...
Cuba leads 2-1 now
Cuba leads 2-1 now
I think they will win, Puerto Rico couldn't keep the level from 1st set and Cuba totally takes advantage from their physical power.
Yup. With Cuba up 15-11 in the 4th set, this looks to be almost over.
still there is a chance for Portorico
PR's coach must be losing his mind right now.
His serving sub puts it long.
Then on a nice dig his players chuck a ball that could have been to tie
Cuba advances to the Finals.
25-22 in the 4th set
Puerto Rico simply with too many errors to beat Cuba today...Cuba seems on a good way, if anyone could teach those girls better ball control they could be back among the world's top teams.
DOM now just a few points away from the Finals.
CUBA x DOM REP for the London ticket
DOM vs CUBA ...
Hmmm ... not easy to guess the winner ...
Probably a good game
