I dont know if it is coach's choice or cebic has injury, but Rabita started with Fomina as libero.
Still we have problems in reception, especially Grun had some errors in reception.

it looks like that Natasa Leto is the defacto team captain
-
Nice point from Schwerin's libero
-
Nice over-in-two from Schwerin's setter, she doesn't tip it over, she smashes it over!
-
Why is Buijs start so far inside when play is short/fast behind setter and Gamova coming from backcourt with no block?
-
Nice over-in-two from Schwerin's setter, she doesn't tip it over, she smashes it over!
She's known for that, actually she is a pretty good attacker which is also visible in her powerful jump serves.
Schwerin is playing quite well so far, but there's nothing to do when Kosheleva attacks over the block all the time. Gamova looks unmotivated as usual when she has to play against a "weak" team
-
1.78 OH Souza Ziegler with 2 consecutive kill blocks against Gamova
Nice service run by Denise Hanke
Larson is in the crowd by the way...

Yamamay has hard times against bucuresti
-
Finally yamamay beat dinamo bucuresti 3-1,but seems yamamay should work harder
-
Kazan playing with zero motivation and as consequence they lose 2nd set 14-25 But on the other hand Schwerin is excellently prepared tactically, they exploit Kazan's weaknesses very well and since middle of 2nd set they can also dig Gamova.
Is there any team in CL that does NOT suck in reception by the way???
-
Lloyd played 2 awful sets! Caracuta played better than her... I know she was playing for the first time this season but she did not play well....
-
Schwerin leads 2-1 and thus takes at least one point from Kazan, but the most important thing is that they really deserve it! Of course Kazan is far from their best shape and missing Larson, but Schwerin plays really really well today! Denise Hanke creates a very varied and fast offense, Anne Buijs has some problems in reception and defense but she makes up for it in attack, and Anja Brandt really improved a lot this year! Now I hope they can win the match, but somehow I'm afraid Kazan's experience will make the difference in the end...

Finally! Bravo, Schwerin! Well deserved win! 15-13 in the 5th.
-
Wow, what a great victory for Schweriner! congratulations they really deserved the victory, they played quite well...I really liked Hanke's match!
-
Even at 14-11 for Schwerin, I kinda expected 5 aces in a row by Gamova, but Schwerin really made it, and they soooo deserve it!!! They fought so hard all the time, and there is no question Kazan has the better individual players, but Schwerin's victory was a total team effort! Every player contributed in her own way, nobody was weak today.
Kosheleva was (almost?) crying after the match...and Gamova seemed to have pain in her shoulder/back all the time in the end, but Kazan has almost no bench

Tauron - Eczacibasi 1:1
Tauron was so close to win the 2nd set. Zaroslinska is in AMAZING shape!

Stats of Schwerin-Kazan: http://www.cev.lu/Competition-…hStatistics.aspx?ID=24430 (reload if it says "serve not available")
6 aces by Hanke and 15/17 in attack for Steenbergen, great numbers And what is strange, even when Gamova plays what looks like a rather average match, she still ends up scoring 25 points...
