And again China's 2nd libero enters VERY early
Araki and Otomo might as well go and have a cup of coffee, Takeshita won't set them any ball today...
Xu back in for China, so no serious injury for her

Why's the german flag displayed there in the stands?
Probably someone forgot it there after men's GER-BRA yesterday evening...
Hui is on her last legs - is there noone else for her?
But the japanese MB's can't score. I wish they'd get envolved too, but I think Takeshita's just being objective.
We definitely can't complain about lack of suspense in this match
Every set has been a margin of 2 points.
So I guess this 5th set will end 15-13 or so
The match won't end!
Japan, woohooo
What a way to end it. Back-to-back reception errors. That will be heartbreak for CHINA
I must say congratulations to both teams though. What a way to start the Quarterfinals!!!
Wei's devastated!
Congrats to both teams
A thriller game ...

Yukiko and Saori like Natalia and Ekaterina
Manabe made good substition in the end: Nakamichi has good serve
Congratulations Japan
So happy for Japan they really played with so much heart. Congrats to both teams for putting up a riveting quarterfinal!

Congratz. Nippon!!! i am very happy for you
Kimura Saori!!! welcome vakıfbank.
Japan!!! Unexpected victory! It's a been a while since Japan made it to the semis! Congratulations! Nail-biting all through out! I think the points Japan made were more morale-lifting compared to China's.
Sad for China. It's heartbreaking to see players cry like that
I tell you what, the most nerve wracking thing must be being a receiver when the match is in the 5th set, and it's overtime.......
Pool A vs Pool B 1 / 0
Finally, it's over now! A very tight match indeed.
Japan deserved SF. They really played well.
Wang prove that how much important she is for China.
I mean she scored a lot, even through she was almost unable to jump.
Hope to see a healthy Wang in Rio.
Wow, an amazing match! Such a treat for volleyball fans.
In the end, Japan made it work. They had a great improvement this last 4 years, while China struggled. And I think no other opponent has been so hard for Japan to beat than China, so this is kinda interesting, I guess. China fought, Yimei Wang gave it all, but in the end, Japan united and pushed it a bit more. Amazing Takeshita, amazing Ebata, amazing Sano!
