Turkey - Vestel Venüs Sultanlar Ligi - 2018/2019

  • Aslı's approach looks like she spiked but she couldn't fully swing yet, except it's almost always as that  indeed Bahar Toksoy used to be like that and improved and is not anymore, Büşra is an even worse example of it and there are many more players like that.

She is a useful player though and there is times where I truly like her game, but I have never seen her be a game-changer or anything especially in NT, even at her best she usually falls short compared to others.

  • Bahar has played with the best setters of this league. I mean look at last year's FB, Tomkom made both Diclenur and Bahar look like beasts in attacking.

On the other hand Asli played with Gamze, now with Cagla & Nursevil. Sorry but lol, not even comparable. Look at Gamze this season and her MBs, Gibbemeyer, Beyza and Busra, all three are performing terrible. I would really like to watch Asli with a setter like Tomkom.

didn’t she play with Lo Bianco in the past? And Gamze played very good before last season and the season before. That is what Asli is. An avarage player on her best day, could be useful but only if on her best day and it does not happen so often.

  • I like libero Aylin's defensive efforts. Nilüfer looks like a great team in general as in the meaning of TEAM, they work together. Y'all should check their form lately btw in some live score app, its amazing.

  • btw...i said i didnt like MB Aslı Kalaç's offensive game (her swing rather) but i dont want to become unfair to her..i checked her stats again

: she is third best scorer MB after Jackson and Eda. She has had 100 points so far and her attacking percentage is 51..she is third best blocker ..so she is a useful/good MB

: she is third best scorer MB after Jackson and Eda. She has had 100 points so far and her attacking percentage is 51..she is third best blocker ..so it wouldnt be wrong to conclude that she is third best MB in the league so far considering her contribution in the both sides of the game

I like what Gala does...they like to run their middles a lot...last season was no different with Ruseva and Jack. But according to some users here the setter and coach has nothing to do with that...

  • btw..i had written the top 5 blockers list according to ranking index

Top 5 blockers' rankings according to winning blocks/sets :

    1. Milena Raşiç 1,34

    2. Yasemin Güveli 0,88

    3. Zehra Güneş 0,87

    4. Hristina Ruseva 0,74

    5. Eda Erdem 0,73

Top 5 blockers' rankings according to winning blocks :

    1. Yasemin Güveli 46 blocks

    2. Eda Erdem 44

    3. Aslı Kalaç 44

    4. Hristina Ruseva 43

    5. Dominika Sobolska 40

i like it when setters use MBs alot but it also depends on how good a team's wingers are..Gala's wingers are not doing well..Meryem (she seems to have played a good match today) isnt doing well,Leys either..Hande can score (but we know what happens to team's reception when she plays OH)..so Gala's setters are forced to play through the MBs..also Jackson is a really good attacking MB and seems Aslı is doing well too...so why not?

Do you know why Hande barely played today? Injury or just benched for reception line? Usually she is also starter even if she does not receive.
