I'm not sure, Potsdam is playing really well. But fourth place would be safe for Dresden for sure.
Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2019/20

And with some help from the referees (I didn't understand that red card for delay in the end ) Schwerin manages to win 3:2 eventually, but Dresden still had a very good match. Nice to see Apitz back on court after long illness!
-
Now Stuttgart won in three sets in Aachens not rule-conforming hall, reduced the advantage of Schwerin by one point - but regarding winning the league round it was very important for Schwerin to win in any way against Dresden today, otherwise the strongest on the road team Stuttgart would have been a big threat in Schwerin in the return match of the both rivals.
-
OMG that girl from 2nd league that Suhl signed as new backup setter in the last minute just entered the court for serve and she has to be the most overweight player ever to play in Bundesliga
-
Wiesbaden lost in Erfurt with no points (Erfurt won 3:1) and is now completely screwed - they have no realistic option anymore for the playoffs, just four matches before end of the league round. They will be very disappointed with this very poor season result.
-
Val Nichol and Antonia Stautz are out for a few weeks in Potsdam.

Schwerin - Dresden 3:2 (21:25 19:25 25:20 25:23 15:12)
http://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2019-20/Women/2104.pdf
MVP: McKenzie Adams / Monique Strubbe (13/16 att )
Aachen - Stuttgart 0:3 (19:25 24:26 23:25)
http://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2019-20/Women/2105.pdf
MVP: Tessa Polder / Annie Cesar
Erfurt - Wiesbaden 3:1 (25:20 25:23 21:25 25:16)
http://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2019-20/Women/2107.pdf
MVP: Michelle Petter / Frauke Neuhaus
Suhl - Potsdam 1:3 (21:25 20:25 25:20 21:25)
http://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2019-20/Women/2106.pdf
MVP: Karis Watson / Denise Imoudu
Val Nichol broke a finger in training this week and already had a surgery, Potsdam hopes to have her back for the playoffs. Toni Stautz out with a muscle tear as well.
Vilsbiburg - Straubing 3:1 (25:23 17:25 25:9 25:21)
http://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2019-20/Women/2108.pdf
MVP: Daria Przybylak / Tionna Williams
Ranking:
1 Schwerin 15 14 44:12 40
2 Stuttgart 16 13 44:15 40
3 Potsdam 16 11 40:21 35
4 Dresden 17 9 35:31 28
5 Vilsbiburg 16 9 35:32 27
6 Aachen 17 8 35:33 25
7 Straubing 17 9 30:35 24
8 Münster 16 7 27:35 20
9 Wiesbaden 16 5 21:40 13
10 Erfurt 16 3 19:43 10
11 Suhl 16 1 12:45 5
So the 8 teams for the playoffs are almost 100% sure, only the order is still open. With yesterday's 3 point win Erfurt increased the distance to Suhl, but since as usual no team from 2nd league will come up, nobody will be relegated anyway probably...

I noticed that korhonen is not a starter for Dresden anymore. So she couldn't fully recover from her previous injury or kibura is playing better recently?

i guess both is true partly.

Serious hall issues in Aachen:
https://www1.wdr.de/nachrichte…all-aachen-halle-100.html
In short: the roof is not okay, water can intrude; many unpaid helpers have to work to make the hall usable for every match, and the city of Aachen will not allow usage any longer, it is too defective. The new hall planned to built will take still many years, they will play with extra costs in nearby remote hall of Düren (men's team, will share them) meanwhile, and the city will pay for these additional costs for the time being. It is considered as existential threat, despite the league didn't required them yet to leave this old and too small hall...

The report of the WDR is misleading:
It was planned to repair the roof during this summer. So the hall would have been available for the VBL-season 2020-21. But the repair will last more than half a year. According to current knowledge the repair will take 13 months and thus the LiB can't play in "Neuköllner Straße" during the whole upcoming season. After this time the repaired hall will be available again for the LiB (WDR: "endgültig sperren" sounds misleading!).The city of Aachen is in negotiations with the BLB (facility management of the State of Northrhine-Westphalia, who is owner of the property) to buy the ground of the former police headquarters of Aachen. They are hoping to succeed up to this years summer. There are plans to build a new sports hall suitable for the VBL on this ground.
During the upcoming season the only possibility for the LiB to play will be in Düren or Maaseik. As alternative hall for a whole season, they probably prefer Düren for its better connections to Aachen. The city of Aachen is considering to pay for the additional costs, but the city council still has to decide.

Today some decisions took place: after the only surprise, the three set defeat of Dresden at home against Münster and all favourites in the other matches winning with three points, all playoff teams and the others are now known, the current order is:
1. Schwerin
2. Stuttgart
3. Potsdam
4. Vislbiburg
5. Dresden
6. Aachen
7. Straubing
8. Münster
Not qualified but without risk of being relegated because at most one team would add with wild card to the current only 11 teams are Wiesbaden, Erfurt and Suhl.

Aachen twice
From my point of view it is very realistic, that we (Münster) would take 7th place for the playoffs. Any other place (6th) would be really surprising.

Dresden today without Weitzel, Cyris and the other already known injuried people (von Römer, Mrdak).
I hope we could get an good home game on sunday against Straubing, where we can show a good perfomance from the road games (Stuttgart, Vilsbiburg, Dresden) in front of your home fans.

glad to see how Alsmeier has been delevopingIMO she´s already converted into one of the decent all-round players in the league
hopefully her recent performance would draw the attention of some teams from Serie A XD

Undoubtedly her performance draws attention, but she has a multi year contract with Münster, so I don't expect her to be going anywhere in the near future.
Today:
18:00 Erfurt - Stuttgart
19:00 Suhl - Aachen
19:30 Wiesbaden - Schwerin
Tomorrow:
14:30 Münster - Straubing

Karch Kiraly is watching the match of Schweriner. Probaply for Wong-Orantes, but maybe Adams can take her chance to show what she capable of. She is a well balanced outside hitter.
-
Lea Ambrosius has been abesent from the roster for a few matches due to finger injury
Still remians uncertain about if this would continue neither for how long
