I don't like to put it this way but it's true ... watching the match I wondered to myself: "hmm, I wonder whose niece she is". Passing isn't the best part of Macandili's game so maybe there was a calculation by the coach to go with the libero duo.

It is going to be another easy gold for Thailand. Is Maganang injured? Indonesia looks like a rookie without her on court,
-
Is Ara Galang still injured? In my opinion, she's the best filipina player. Valdez is good but Galang can hit any type of high ball with her intelligent game and she's a good receiver as well. It's such a shame that she's never been the same since her injury. I've seen her recent highlights and I thought she's back to form but I could be mistaken.
Well about the game, I thought the double libero system of Philippines wasn't a great idea. If it's not working then just maintain the momentum with your stronger defensive libero because scoring break points in volleyball is the key to winning the game. I'm not even sure if the coach of Philippines is using advanced in-game stats. The receiving libero was not particularly helpful with her coverage. She's slow and she's a little pudgy. She might need to lose some weight in order to become faster.
Galang didn't try out. I don't think she can change the game via attacking with her current form but her receiving can help the team.

Is this like a PanAm for them? Where is that tall Philippine MB that plays in Japan, is she not part of their NT?

Idk what PanAm is. But probably yes. Haha.
Jaja is still playing league in Japan right now so she isn’t playing for SEA games. She’s still a part of NT though.

I’m glad to see that THA team did good yesterday. It does look like they’re practicing though.
Chutchu-on was there only for serving and she got 3 points from that
The game between VIE and PHI was much more enjoyable to watch. -
Stats from yesterday matches.

Can’t imagine how Thailand is going to trash everyone when all their starter play. Pleumjit, Ajcharaporn, and Onuma have yet to step into the court. 😂😂😂

THA lead 1-0...
Now trailed 9-12... What happened to Nootsara? She missed timing a lot....
-
They got better and won 2-0....
-
It was a fun match especially in set 3.
I love Filipino fans so much. They seem to enjoy every points the team got and really are supportive of their NT.
The THA does have problem with serve receiving and that makes it's hard for Nootsara to work her magic.
They need to fix it fast before the OQ in January. The Korean's serves are much deadlier than this.
-
The Thai NT needs to take some notes from the 3bb youth team on how to win properly. Lol
I wonder who else on NT besides Pimpichaya , Tichaya and Tichakorn also came from 3bb's sport school? No doubt Tichakorn is a good blocker, but it would be even nicer if she could be as beasty of a attacker and an explosive high jumper like her younger school mate, Saowsapa.

34-32. Korea is laughing.

I just saw it on Youtube when I opened the app...my bad

I think they rerun the match in TV in the following day.
Anyone has a link between THA and PHI with English commentators?
I would feel bad if the PHI doesn’t reach the podium this year. After yesterday performance, I think they deserved it. If they did that well with VIE, they might win that 5-set match. -
Anyone has a link between THA and PHI with English commentators? This youtuber has it split into sets, good quality, english commentary
