Not only Sammelvuo rarely tries Kovalev who is a great floating server, but also forgot Dyachkov exists.

If Brizard doesnt wake up (or is changed in order to relax him a bit), this final will be a clear 3-0. Iakolev seems like the only one who wants to win from StP.

The fact StP is showing a poor reception doesnt invalidate the fact Brizard is underperforming. We know he is a good/talented setter, so of course it is expected much more from him than a mediocre one. Even in the transitions (counter attacks), his sets are too open or too close to the net. Giving him a break for some points would be the best. Samuelvuo has already taken him away and chat personally in two TT in a row.
So far, only Iakolev is playing in his normal level, the other ones

If they arent bombs, they are "poisonous" ones which break StP reception system. -

Brizard did have some amazing performance from time to time. He's a smart setter, but the biggest issue for him is stability. Toniutti is much better than him on solid pass. That's the reason why Toniutti is the 1st setter for France NT.
