The end of Set 1 was pretty goofy, but fun. I sort of like that lefty OP on 3BB. She looks familiar but I don't think I've seen her name mentioned much
Onuma not do her jump serve in league play?

Her name is Sineenat. She was on U23 NT team competing alongside Chutchuon, Pimpichaya, etc.
Diamond Food team looks better but still shaky to me. Just want to see how it goes with the foreign player.

3BB's lefty OP is Sineenat Phocharoen. She was used to be part of Thai NT.

Didn't the NT also have a lefty 180 cm hitter by the name of Rasemee before? she played with Bangkok Glass before it was disbanded. I remembered she was a strong hitter.
then there also the lefty(#17) in khonkaen as well that has an Annie Drew style of hitting. I think her name is Sunitra Sembal? I hope khonkaen let her start or have more court time. She can be good option in the case of Pimpichaya getting some kind of injury on the NT.
All five members of the “Fab Five” golden girls of Thai Volleyball were involved in last Saturday’s match between Diamond Food (Onuma, Malika, Nootsara) and Supreme (Pleumjit, Wilawan)....being a big fan of the Thai volleyball team for many years, it’s a special feeling to see them still playing competitive volleyball...and enjoying themselves 🙂

Amporn Hyapha was the other middle for years, but her level dropped about 5/6 years ago and we didn't see her around a lot.
Wanna Buakaew was the libero. She was a world class player IMHO.

there are other good players, but I think the above five had the most colourful careers...

Amporn and Wanna are the remaining two from that era. They’re both with Diamond Food now, Amporn as an MB and Wanna as an assistant coach.
Thanks everyone!

I agreed, she was world class....... but seems like barely anybody on here seem to know or mentioned her when they talk about great liberos 🤔......So far, no current thai liberos has match or came close to her level during her playing days. I would say if Piyanut and Yupa became one, they would be pretty close to what Wanna was. 😆
Korat vs Diamond Food VC
Korat vs Diamond Food VC
So, 4 teams, Korat, Diamond Food, Supreme and Nakornnont have qualified for the final series with 2 legs (Apr 2-4) and (Apr 9-11) each comprising a single round robin for a total of 12 matches.
Actually the four teams have already qualified before the last match, but Korat and DF, thankfully for viewers, didn’t hold back in their last match (above). Chatchu-on seems to be injured, but hopefully she’ll be ok for the final series 🙂
setters really makes a difference, but good game nevertheless. I hope chatchu-on isn't seriously injured.
I dont know why but I always feel this kinda happy feeling when I watch Nootsara plays. Unproblematic queen that always gives positive vibes on court. Love her!
It seems that Diamond Food’s Cuban player is not coming anymore due to visa problem. Too bad :,(

I think that's one of the reasons why Vietnam couldn't bring their cuban coach over either for their women's NT. 🤔

Really? Haven’t heard about this before.
Anyway, the final 4 is a toss up for me now that Diamond Food doesn’t have any foreign players. Should be fun.

yes, she moves around the court in a graceful and easy manner and her setting is like a soft touch, or flick, and the ball floats to the exact spot for the attacker to take a swing. It’s poetry in motion ! With her positive vibes she’s like a spark to energise everyone 😃
It got recommended to me, I think it's the finals or semis.
I instantly recognize Pleumjit, Chatcu-on, Ajcharaporn, Yeliz Başa from Turkey as well
if anyone else wants to see
