Trade with draft pick or money i guess?
S.Korea - 2021-2022 V-League (Women)
-
-
Question: Are trades allowed during this period? before the season starts?
Pepper hasn't found their libero yet, or rather how should they get a libero? they probably can get a ex-player, but if it's from GS or Pink Spiders, how should that work?
If I'm not mistaken, clubs can trade/sign new players up till 3rd round of season
There are usually 3 stages - Before initial registration, Draft Pick period, Before 3rd round of season
But personally I don't recall any trades/signs during season itself

On another news, Heejin will be appearing on "Breakfast with Tiffany", up on the youtube channel on 10th September.
Seems like Heejin is really popular these days
-
-
She will also appear in another show with Kim-Yang-Kim. Is it "I Live Alone"?
Likely so, according to posts by fans in twitter. which will also broadcast next Friday.

If I'm not mistaken, clubs can trade/sign new players up till 3rd round of season
There are usually 3 stages - Before initial registration, Draft Pick period, Before 3rd round of season
But personally I don't recall any trades/signs during season itself
I think trade can be made up until the start of the 4th round.
I know of two trades made during the season, both before the start of the 4th round.
IBK and KGC confirmed a trade on December 26, 2017, a day before the start of the 4th round for the 2017/2018 season. IBK traded CHAE Seon-Ah[OH], KO Min-Ji [OH], and LEE Sol-Ah [S] to KGC for CHO Su-Bin [OH] and PARK Se-Yun [OH] (Source: 1).
IBK and GS Caltex announced a trade on January 13, 2020, also just a day before the start of the 4th round for the 2019/2020 season. This time, IBK traded MOON Ji-Yun [OP] and KIM Hae-Bin [Li] to GS Caltex for KIM Hyun-Jung [MB] and PARK Min-Ji [OH] (Source: 1).
Also, there was one case of a loan that I am aware of. If I recalled correctly, GS Caltex loaned setter SI Eun-Mi (now goes by the name of SI Ji-Hyeon) to KGC for the 2016/2017 season (Sources: 1, 2, 3, 4). Before the start of the following season, she made a permanent move to KGC as part of 2:2 players trade between GS and KGC (Source: 1).

Hillstate defense been on my nerves all night
I was feeling fortunate Kang SH was on the service line for that end run ... then oops
GS was one of the best serving teams last season but had a really off-day with their serving in yesterday's final. 14 serve errors and not a single ace was scored.
-
Hillstate receive is good too, so gs player try to push harder with their serve thats why so many error

That's an unattractive statistic
I know KIXX lost the first two sets on a service error but KSH shouldn't have wimped out at the end. If you're going for Gold you go for the Gold ... unless the other team has so outplayed you, you lose all your confidence

7 members of the Olympic team will guest on Running Man
-
Running man so boring these days, finally a reason to watch it.
now we need knowing brothers appearance too. -
-
The rookie draft will be held on the 7th at 2 pm (Korea time).
Pepper gets to pick 5 of the first 6 players in the draft (the 4th pick went to Hi-Pass in compensation for Ha Hye-jin).

Cant remember it all but just on the top of mind:
OH:Lee Hyeon Ji (mokpo HS, 181cm) good strength and serve defense is decent too, but sometimes get frustated and just slam the ball unto the net or block.
Kim Se In (Sunmyung hs, 173 cm) ace of the team, good leap, receive is good, but the height is certainly lacking
Kim Ga young (hanbom hs, 173cm) the anchor of defense, defensive left type of player, attacking is just okay.
park eun soo (ilshin hs, 178cm) i think she is the most pro ready. Strong serve attack defence she does it all.
jeong Yun Ju (daegu hs, 176cm) best attacker, jump is high, but usually by the second set the stamina depleted thats why daegu never win if they are trailing 😅Setter:
park sa rang (daegu Hs, 178 cm) best setter this yearKang Bo Min (hanbom, 177cm) doesn’t stand out much but does the job well, can get into a slump sometimes, the coach often subtitute her at last tournament. But she played better at This tournament.
one more cheonan cheongsu setter i didnt know her name, but she got injured at the earlier tournament, she carry the whole team.Libero:
Park Hye Hyeon (jungang) need to work on the receive, hustle is good though
MB:Lee Ji Soo (hanbom, 185cm) this tournament outshine by her junior but still a decent pick, though rarely use, her slide attack is good. Need to work on the serve so many error.
Lee Ye Dam (jungang, 187cm) blocking is good, the attack lack of strength.
seo chae won (daegu, 181cm)
i will update if i remember more lol.Is the AI Sports TV channel on Youtube the only place to watch those games? My life feels so empty without volleyball, might as well watch some teenage kids play...

rewatch world cup 2019? imo that's one of the best performance put up by the NT girls. everyone was in good form.
i can't wait for the season to start, but first, sept is a season for korean variety shows. KYK and Heejin appearing in quite a fair bit of them.
-
Why the height reported in news before different then the official one lol.
-
Draft prediction: this is just based on my observations on this year HS tournament
Pepper
1. Park Sarang (S)
2. Lee Ye Dam (MB)
3. Jeong Yun Ju (L)
5. Park Eun Seo (L)
6. Kim Ga Yeong (L,Li)
hipass: need MB4. Lee Ji Soo (MB)
the rest is without order because its still a lotteryHyundai: need L or MB
Lee Hyeon Ji (L) or Seo Chae won (MB)
kgc: need SKang Bo Min (S)
IBK: need li or MBPark Hye Hyeon (Li) or Jeon Hyeon Kyeong (MB)
pink spider: need LCha Yu Jeong (L,MB)
gs: need MBSeo Chae Won or Jeon Hyeon Kyeong
There is Kim Se In, she’s good but that height is certainly lacking.
At least we can see more player get picked this year than last year, but then again if they just gonna pick and be released in 1 or 2 season what’s the point.
-
Why the height reported in news before different then the official one lol.
Yeah... Maybe a year or two ago, I read somewhere about a promising future 187cm setter. Now that she's a "not the most athletic" 185cm middle blocker, let's just say it's slightly less exciting... Hi-Pass should definitely grab her though if Pepper doesn't with the first three picks.
The top-ranked OH this year is around Lee So-young's height, and Lee So-young HERSELF was unusable during international games except against Japan (and Thailand).

Anywhere to watch You Quiz on the Block? Can't find it on OnDemandKorea and Joovideo/Korvideo is down (permanently it seems)...
