Mizuno obviously paid her she's wearing it in a library I mean
It's "casualwear" she has to look like she's dying for an ice cream.

5:00am for the JPN/BRA match for me. That's not too bad
Based on Yoshino Sato’s story, they flew straight to Turkey.
Did somebody post this already?
"The Sultans of the Net will play a friendly match against Japan at TVF Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Hall on Sunday, July 10 at 11.45, before the FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League Finals to be held in Ankara between 13-17 July 2022"
from voleybolmagazin . Don't know anything about them or their reliability

They need that friendly.
Shimamura is probably dying from excitement. She adores Eda so much.
Also that source is very reliable.

Will TVF have a livestream for the friendly match? denzz
Why do we keep going back to the two same things again and again? This is what happens when we even acknowledge rumours, because we'll always be stuck trying to prove/disprove something that 99% doesn't have any truth
Not calling anyone out or anything, but can we all please agree to give up on two topics?
1) Naturalisation of players as a method of solving Japan's problems - what we have now, we deal with it
2) Rumours of ANY team throwing matches - it's quite an insult to the teams accused and it only fuels annoying fans' delusions
According to Nikkei, JVA has hired an additional strength and performance coach from figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu's staff. I don't think they're Japanese. The news didn't specify whether it's for the women's or men's team.

Manabe dropped the one from Saga right? who is the women's conditioning coach right now?

Yeah
Their 2 strength coaches are Koji Kinoshita and Hiroyuki Abutani the one who rehabilitated Miyu after Italy. JVA got rid of the previous Russian strengthening coach so this new staff from Yuzuru's team will now take over
Not impressed with Hammy so far. She was really lost during the match against Netherlands. A lot of hesitation on her part. She really needs someone to egg her on and in Saga that was usually Toe.
Yamagishi is painful to watch
Why you guys not come party with me at U20
Senior NT is so yesterday

Shirakawa you mean? her and Inoue were never a good combo. She's pushing herself a lot more imo. She'll find her pace soon enough.

I did watch I'm just not making any comments because I only know like 3 girls in the roster and 2 of them I'm not even sure of
Nichika Yamada is kinda disappointing too. She used to be a fine MB2 in 2019 as seen on this video. Her A quicks were as deadly as Jaja Santiago's. I thought she's the lethal MB2 that Japan has been looking for, but her approach kinda changed when she became a part of Nakada's NT. Her approach kinda resembled that of Nana Iwasaka since then.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBQ1Tls7h0g

I think Yamada had to pullback from that role with Ogawa and Yokota's addition. She looks uncomfortable sometimes.
