Are you watching IBK. vs Red Sparks ? I’m just following the scores and watching a bit in between looking at the other matches.... Saturday afternoon is packed crazy with live action, earlier (between 1pm and 4pm here) there’s matches from the Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Thailand leagues

I’m watching three devices simultaneously , I think I need three more to cope

Back to IBK vs Red Sparks.. it’s turning out to be another close match ! In fact every match that I watched so far has been close. For sure there’s no end in excitement, but when will our favourite young player Choi Ho Sun get a chance to play :(

  • I thought it's gonna be Red Sparks win after 2-0 lead. Then something happened, Red Sparks attacks easily thwarted in 3rd set, and their defense full of holes. Altos also got 2nd wind...

Interestingly, I think Altos is good at spreading the attacks and the 2OHs were playing gvery good.. Abercrombie was not so active.

As much as I don't like Pyo Seung Ju, she was very good. She was the main driving force in this match.... And Altos very lucky to have Pornpun.. Her sets were so on point in this match...

Red Sparks was too relied on Mega and Gia that their attacking pattern easily read and blocked...Yeum HS showed her weakness in her lack of creativity and speed.. Added their not so strong defense...

Shin libero from Altos is the most successful changing position I know.. From OH to libero, then become very good libero..

  • Yes I watched it yesterday. Red Sparks losing their momentuum is really a problem.

Choi Hosun may not play this season. Its common in K-league for rookies players to never play. 😭

  • Im myung ok was a OH too, you can search her clip on youtube

  • It's been a busy couple of days lol but anyway, the 2nd round is already done and Pink Spiders continue to be the 1st ranked team in the league.

As for the upcoming All-Star Competition, here are the 3 chosen players per club:

PINK SPIDERS - Kim Yeon Koung and Kim Suji

HYUNDAI HILLSTATE - Jeong Jihyun, Yang Hyo-jin and Lee Dahyun

GS CALTEX - Kang Sowhi, Giselle Silva, and Kim Jiwon

IBK - Pyo Seungju, Choi Jeongmin and Pornpun

RED SPARKS - Megawati and Yeum Hyeseon

HI-PASS - Moon Jungwon, Kim Sebin, and Im Myeong Wook

AI-PEPPERS - Park Jeong Ah, Oh Ji Young, and Yasmeen Bedart

    That will be good 👍

Some players from Australia, India, Iran, Mongolia, Uzbekistan etc may have the potential to fit into Korean, Japanese, Thai or Chinese teams 🤔 It will make the league more interesting and the players can help built bridges among different countries. It will be great for Asian volleyball :)

This is great, and I wish they can also increase their salary for the Asian quarter as well. Players like Mega, Wipawee, Pornpun and Tanacha play great for their teams they should at least be compensated competitively.
