Japan - V.League V1 (Division 1, Women) 2023-2024

  • Be poetic if Prestige beat SAGA for their first V1 win. Long way to go tho. And don't try for any B Team sympathy bullshit

  • Who are their starters? Mandai?

    My subscription already ended

Can't say for sure as starters but Nakagawa, Nakajima, and Kitamado on pins have taken all the swings, Otake and Chitaporn MB, Mandai setter. That new libero I couldn't fucking watch

  • Wait wtf is this Fukasawa? literally just leave

This girl might be the worst highschool ace she has that pandemic curse for sure

Very unreliable. Always MIA. She's never there when they need and they can't count on her when she is around. Sorry but sayonara please

She has never gotten injured but she's always in bad shape/poor condition/always has pain in her legs and now she's joined by Hammy who is yet again in bad condition. What's going on with these players?! saga should fire their trainers at this point

  • I can't decide if ya'll are more unkind or unfair to Fukazawa but I don't like her any more so I don't care

  • I'll say this about Kasai. I don't like her very much but she's one of those players like Wada, and Sae Nakajima that coaches seem to like. She seemed like a choker to me, but her HS team wasn't very good overall so she had a lot of responibility. However, I couldn't fucking watch her this past season and apparently she did very well. Also she was kind of beastly in the U-Squad matches I saw her in. Still don't like or trust her ... yet"

I would say V Cup is below Empress and Black Eagle flag. There has only been 5 of them since 2000

Since this tournament rarely happens shouldn't it be more prestigious? like World Championship type? does this make sense?

Keihan Takahashi's fan said on twitter that the Japanese term for "poor condition" has the same meaning as "recovering" it doesn't literally mean that the player is in poor condition they could have chosen not to participate for a variety of reasons both physically and mentally/emotionally

I don't know Fukazawa's case but from the way she cried during Empress Cup she seems mentally unsuited for a team like Saga

I don't know what was the reason for the first three in 1999, 2000, and 2001, but now it appears to be a thing they will do when they cut V.League short so the NT can go train. So it's a tournament with incomplete teams (at least this one and the previous one). I imagine the players feel good about it, but it seems more on the level of Summer League

  • SAGA :box::box:Prestige

    Tie Break

  • Fukazawa won two championships, both to empty arenas. Her training during that period was probably for shit because of the pandemic. She comes to V.League and gets the shit kicked out of her. The resiliency of youth wears off quickly

I don't like her, mostly because of her chin, but I don't think she's done anything wrong. She's probably crushed about it all

  • Hitachi's new libero, Rin Takahashi from JWCPE, turns out cuter than expected . I think she may have VOM'd

  • Nakagawa can't run a team if her life depended on it how did this girl always get invited to the NT? awful

Her twin in Toray seems okay though by okay I mean not suffering and they have it way worse I suppose

  • Oh Nana my love. So Prestige of you to service error at match point ;(

Tsugumi has been moving like a freight train, steady as she goes. Megumi was balls to the walls in HS. She won those championships. It was outstanding performance

I don't think Hayashi or Kurogo's first couple years in V.League amounted to much. Mayu couldn't even win a championship. I don't think any of them played much their first couple years did they? If they did it was forgettable

Stop making me defend someone I don't like :rolll:
