Güldeniz and Ezgi once again are fascinating with their performances against strong teams...
despite all the struggle of Güldeniz and Ezgi, best performance of the day came from Meliha İsmailoğlu : 1/14

German girls obviously learned their lesson from the disaster yesterday. They still had a lot of ups and downs today but overall did fairly well and concentrated on their strengths, good serving, great fighting and smart tactical play forcing the opponent to make mistakes.
-
if Russia keeps playing this way then Germany or Thailand or even Serbia can take their place in top 6,why not!
edit : i forgot that usa was the host...
so one of Italy-Russia-Germany and Serbia could be in the top 5.....italia is in for the present....Group G and I will decide who will be in the top 5...Thailand has little chance bcz they are in a tough group in the last week
-
btw..i learnt something new :
only for this year, the teams were asked to prefer either WGP or EG (in Azerbaijan)..we preferred EG... so even if we had won this WGP 2015 we would have got zero point bcz we preferred EG and got maxumum points from there
(the same for German male team) -
serbia was about to do the same to Russia what they did to us in the the fourt set but russia didnt let them
tie-break time!
russia fed. won......goncharova was the best russian player.....
btw, why did Terzic not let his best player in this tournament play : Mihajlovic ?
if she had played maybe serbia could have won... -
Things changed when Ilchenko was sent inside during the 4th and 5th set.
Goncharova on Fire! -
Great comeback for Russia in the 4th and 5th set, when Ilchenko backs she and Pasynkova start to work better in reception so they can set more for Orlova and Lyubushkina, Goncharova is in phenomenal shape, just stunning.
btw I'm also trying to understand what Mihajlovic was doing on the bench, Terzic ... -
Croatia-Puerto Rico should be a contest for the most beautiful setter of the world. Eventually Mojica all the way!
no, naz is the most beautiful setter in the world!
sometimes i think ognjenovic is also quite nice looking. and nootsara.

Anybody know what happened to Setter Fujita from Japan? She played at Montreux very well, why we don't see her anymore?

Kenya

I think that Vedrana has very rounded face and big cheeks. She looks to me very much like Petya Barakova.https://scontent-fra3-1.xx.fbc…f3d5d5bfd490e&oe=56586191 I think that they are sympathic but very far from beautiful. I cannot say who is the most beautiful setter in the world but definitely it's not from Croatia.

Kenya won the third group! I'm really happy about it.
