    Good decision by Barbolini 8). So Ortolani won't have a substitute, in roster there are only 13 players. Will Barbolini call another player or Costagrande/Bosetti will replace her if she plays terrible?

    Bosetti already replaced Ortolani as Opp is Bergamo and also in NT, so I think she will be able to do so in ECH again if needed. ;)

    May be he will call Barcellini...


    The problem is still the libero. So far, Leonardi has to be the titoular... Crossing my finger for Pally!!! and for Merlo too, ofc. I liked Leonardi, but Pally <3

    Luna Carocci wasn't accepted by the CEV because she wasn't in the list for the WL (Leonardi, Cardullo, Merlo), but I read that considering the case may be the CEV we let us chose another libero. Also because Leonardi had a little problem on her thigh (right word?) so it seems she is not 100% either.

    If Carocci can't play and Leonardi has problems, maybe Lucia Bosetti can be the libero of NT but I hope CEV allows Luna Carocci to be in the list of the players...

    NO! CEV refused to let us bring a libero that wasn't in 22 list!! ç_ç


    They said that if we want a second libero we have to chose him between the 22 players on that list. Damn, there's no hope that Merlo cna be back??? Because also Leonardi had few problem during Palladium Cup!!


    If we won't have a second libero and a second opposite we definlty need 5 OH.


    bella, I don't know why Barbolini trained 3 setters, 5 OH, 5 MB (not counting Gioli, also Crisanti and Garzaro played during the WGP), and only two opposite (including Gioli). Even when at the biginning of WGP Ortolani played as opposite, while Gioli was training with Leo, we used a MB or Bosetti as second opposite. Probably he thought that our 5 OH are better than whoever could have been the hipotetical third opposite? ...

    Sì l'avevo letto anche io, ma non è precedento? Io avevo pensato che quello che citavo sopra raccontasse l'evoluzione della vicenda (quindi il fatto che la richiesta straordinaria sia stata rifiutata...)

    It's the same situation as in Russia. They had Kuzyakina, Kabeshova and Kryuchkova in the 22-list, but Kryuchkova and Kabeshova are injured, so they wanted to bring Vekshina. CEV didn't allow them, so Kabeshova plays despite injury :thumbdown: In the past it was able to replace injured players in the rosters...

    But in Italy NT also Leonardi has a little injury :S
