Actually, we don't have such kind of swear in our language. Maybe she learnt it from her Turkish husband (Tunc Afshar)

Yeah, I read that in Azeri turkish, such swears don't exist. But I mean, Turkish football players swear in English and other languages sometimes. They learn and know what they mean. However I don't judge or anything, it was just fun that the TV broadcasted it

And of course Idmantv speaker will support Azerbaijan NT. Azerbaijan is host country, Idmantv is Azerbaijan chanel and speaker is from Azerbaijan. Did you expect him to support Turkey?
Not only volleyball players, but all atheletes in this games was promised some amount of money if they win medal ( not just gold). Azerbaijan girls play at home with local spectators, of course they will want to win.
Azerbaijan Team win against Poland or Netherlands becasue we attach with 3 players. But in this match Jana totally sucked, aslo Zhidkova didn't play well. I know Oksana's sets are not very good, but still Polina or Bayramova can kill those balls. Jana also should try block out, she should play more clever.
I think Azerbaijan NT can be very good place in world volleyball if these three things happen :
1- Receiving with 3 players, or Bayramiva should be so good that 2 players can cover the whole area.
2- Oksana's should make combinations, should play faster. Or we should ahve better setter than her
3- New head coach, all our coaches are form Soviet era. There should be coach who teachs our girls fast games. In end of the the last set Cervyakov substitute Bayramova with Kiselyova ( because of receiving) but in this case it is obvious we will attach wiith Polina, ther ewas turkish block in front of her.
Overall, I think girls had good tournament, there is hope
Lol sorry, it's fine, I am suitably admonished. I do go over board sometimes i know, it was an intense match, all my posts during and just after match now i look back and wish i was more toned down. Please take with pinch of salt. And having had couple of beers watching game didn't help.

Totally off topic Azeri national anthem is cracking good tune, only heard it 1st time few days ago. It's bloody brilliant and gets you amped up, maybe it wasn't outrageous bonus money offered but the Magnifico anthem that fired up the Azeri girls

thank you, i watched only first 2 sets of this match yesterday and today could not find it again, the "live replay" links on youtube seem to change every day.
aghayeva was truly pathetic, such a tall girl and she keeps hitting into the block, she's not passing and she can't play defense, so of course she got replaced and was upset about that… too funny.
now i cannot recall which match it was, but diclenur babat seems like a very promising player. she had 3 or 4 blocks in rapid succession, even out of position and late, but her arms were angled just right. i think it was maybe against AZE.
now, AZE is a truly pathetic team. 3/4 of their players are foreigners, it's like men's team of QAT and LEB. these are all poor excuses for a NT. and AZE is still a C level team.
if yilmaz were a really good receiver, then maybe TUR could play yilmaz-neriman-polen, and increase its offense/attack? onal is just not getting many sets or kills. her arm swing is so slow… weird.

Azerbaijan with some unbelievable serving by Rahimova and Bayramova! Drpa can be a good player only if she reduces her errors she can hit some great angles and score some good balls but then she hits the antenna or 5 meters out and so on..
V. Korotenko is just perfect libero! She is for Azerbaijan like B.Castillo for Dominicana. Simply irreplaceable.
