It goes to show how Nakada doesn't trust her bench players. Imagine Ishikawa and Kurogo have been gifting DR with so many errors and yet they are still on the court... 😓

Someone should ready a box of tissues for Nakada at the press line.

V.League starts in a couple months. I'm cool

The new cycle needs a hard refresh from Japan. Current players are okay except for the middles but they need a stronger system.

A system needs stronger players.
Where are they? In their mama's wombs?

That's the thing. They don't come easily for Japan so they have to make do of what they currently have.

Is this the first time japan’s men team go through the qf?

omg Nakada’s gonna go through a witch hunt. Is Japanese sports netizens as harah as the Koreans?

She has long been criticized for who made it to the NT. I'm sure she'll receive a lot more now.

Nakada should go back to Saga probably she'll be able to salvage the club and her reputation.

I already said before this was a tough generation to coach with.
Many ace players from many national teams appeared which meant they had to play defense more even after creating a great play and the serving this countries have improved many times over which also meant reception of Japanese will never be the same again.
It's really sad but this is why I don't like when fans hyped average players as some kind of ace players when they're clearly just average. The pressure on them is too enormous to manage and I feel like even the players burnt themselves to the ground trying to achieve the impossible things whrn the talent is not even there.
I really think the pandemic also affected Japan the most. I doubt Shinnabe would retire if the olympics were held in 2020. She's IMO the missing piece of this team but that's life.
And even I who don't like Kurogo very much especially when she's on her weak side. Fans should stop bullying her. It's not easy to be in her place especially when she's probably just a placeholder player for the opposite role.
Koga although she played very well, she did not display any fire. Pretty cold for the best player in the team. I think she needs leadership classes and try to smile more genuinely or maybe she has that resting face so I can't really fault her for that.
I think Ishikawa tried her best but her ceiling is just too low. IMO she could be replaced easily after this year so she really need to try to improve her game the most.

This is the prize for not including Miyashita. #YesImStillNotOver

The only good news is that we're not going to see Nakada anymore
-
A good coach will see Ishikawa and the Kurogo are oil and water. It'll be tough, but one of them has to go.
