My worst case scenario happened but I am glad to watch how THY fought wow!
MVP of the match for me is Asli Kalac. She made an incredible job in 4th set. You guys might hate her but gurl touches everything in block, making life easier for defenders. Orthmann's surprising performance + Polen were just spices added on top of it and we have 3-2!
At FB's side, sorry for this but Terzic's coaching is "thrash". The only person who could kill the ball in 4th set was Lazereva and guess what he does, benches her in 5th set. Arina has troubles killing the balls since 3rd set but she remains on the court. Gurl, you could simply replace Arina with Vargas if you love her so much. And why the hell Popovic serves in an important point while you have a libero/spiker like Cansu who is also good in serving? So many other issues but in overall, he is bad.
Asli's attacking approach was not as bad before. I think she tries to adjust herself to make life easier for Carlini, and that seems to ruin her timing and makes her clumsy as well. Normally she would go with "0" attacks, jump to the air when setter has the ball, so setters shoot the ball to her wherever she is. This was working efficiently because she is a short MB. Now she is trying to wait longer until Carlini has the ball but this won't work with her, she does not have that kind of jumping skills.
