wow. Germany refused to play against China today even if the Chinese players tested negative from Covid. This is outright racism and they should be disqualified completely. They also refused to play the exhibition match with Philippines men's team despite agreeing on it before and it was already scheduled and tickets were already sold.

Imo, if Germany isn't comfortable playing with people who aren't fully clear (due to incubation period of COVID), it's completely within their rights to refuse since they'll be counted as losing the match (forfeit) automatically. It's completely within anyone's decision to play or not.

I think it's not fair. Test results needed to be done 24 hours before the match. FIVB needs to make a dicision about if the match would be played one day (24 hours) before, not couple hours before the match. The protocol needed to be changed.
