I could not see what happened, other people ( Players and referee in line of sight for me) , but she could stand shortly. Let's wait for the medical result and hope for the best. - Suhl arrived with just 9 players in Stuttgart by the way.
I guess, Aachen is not allowed to host the cup semi in it's not rule confirming hall and they have to switch to Düren or elsewhere again? Not that they would have any chance against Potsdam under any circumstances...
In the press release it says about Vedrana: "After initial examinations by the Stuttgart team doctor, the worst case of injury seems to be ruled out"
So hopefully no ACL...
Matthias i think you are right.
The coach of Suhl doesn’t look happy for the decision the Stuttgart’s coach to give the award to Jaksetic.
Suhl's backup setter Angeli (who was already transfered as replacement for the injured Liu) also is injured, her license has been deactivated on VBL site (Straubing did the same with McNamara's and Michalewicz's licenses when they were injured and reactivated them after they recovered, no idea what's the sense of this). On Wednesday they have to play in Münster, so they urgently need to find some setter somewhere

because they sent the american home already. so maybe they save the transfer costs?
In Straubing it seems different… could have been some kind of penalty from the league. was only two matches right?

They sent Angeli home? This probably means her injury is also something long-term (or she did not fulfill expectations at all?).
Abput Straubing, I don't think it was a penalty from the league. Both players definitely were injured, but I don't know what's the use of temporarily deactivating player licenses

I wouldnt be surprised if she just didn't meet expectations.... she's not to the german league level (well... maybe neuwied )

Well, in the current situation she would at least be better than no setter at all On the top of my head I can't think of any good setter available on the market.

It's too bad they can't call Taylor Bruns for a small period before they can actually find someone.
They could reach out to Sydney Hilley for maybe a short team deal... but I doubt it
Sara Najdic is looking for club i think, if she didn’t sign anywhere yet.

Unfortunately the first examinations were wrong. It's a ACL injury. She will be out for the rest of the season.

So as Münster has an MB curse this season, Suhl has a setter curse. I hope they find a decent replacement somewhere...maybe if Dijkema really joins Macerata they might release Milanova? Wouldn't be great but OTOH it's not like the market right now is flooded with world class players waiting to sign in Suhl.
Kim Klein Lankhorst shouldn't have joined Cuneo, because she will have no play time at all... She would have been a decent replacement for Jaksetic.

MVP: Laura Rodwald / Agnes Pallag
Tomorrow at 18:30 CET we'll get Potsdam-Stuttgart as TV match, I hope both teams can play with their best line-up and have a high level match

Due to some systematics this time Stuttgart should win again - what doesn't exclude a great fight of course.
Angeli is now completely erased from Suhl's roster on VBL site, but OTOH Liu's license has been activated now AFAIK her absence was due to troubles with an old ankle injury, so I wonder if she gets to actually play now until they find a new setter
And now Suhl added Jenni Liu, younger sister of Yina Liu, to their roster She played in VCO Berlin until 2019 and in USA after that.
