Stuttgart takes first set 25 ;15
-
Sorry 25;21

I thought that he might go to Dresden as well since both of their assistant coaches left...
But I don't know..It would also be my guess. I thought he might work with their 2nd team maybe, but with both assistants leaving he might as well be Waibl's assistant.
Boieri will be the New Coach.
they announced this alreadyWhen and where? I heard the same, but not from any official announcement.

1st final
Stuttgart - Potsdam 3:1 (25:21 25:22 17:25 25:19)
https://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2022-23/Women/2518.pdf
MVP: Krystal Rivers / Hester Jasper
Judging from the stats it seems Stuttgart was able to take Emonts out of the game by targeting her with serves and Potsdam couldn't achieve the same with Lee.
2nd match on Saturday, then we'll also get a stream

Lee had a nice game judging from the stats. Her passing has improved and she still attacks well. With all the changes in rosters for next season, this may be the last opportunity for either team to win the championship.

Stuttgart's reception was much better yesterday than in the previous rounds. They play better and more focused when they have a better opponent.
In addition, nice serving by Stuttgart and Lee and Rivers played really well

Dresden has announced that the following players will leave the club:
Linda Bock, Elisa Lohmann, Marie Hänle, Kveta Grabovsca, Sophie Dreblow, Agnes Pallag, Monique Strubbe, Kayla Haneline, Yannick Meijers
also pretty much all the stuff will go. -
Schwerin has announced Linda Bock and Savelkoel and confirmed that Alsmeier and Ruddins will play abroad. Nestler will be loaned to another club in Bundesliga, about Frauke Neuhaus it's not sure yet if she'll stay according to the article, but with Hölzig, Bock, Savelkoel, Yüzgenc, Dambrink and allegedly Marring and Grozer also coming, there doesn't seem to be space for her
-
I'm a bit surprised that Lohmann leaves as well. I can't think about another german club that needs a libero?

There's no point staying when Jegdic is coming, Lohmann wouldn't play much. I could imagine her returning to Switzerland or even Schwerin as 2nd libero
-
Going to another german club just to be second libero doesn't make any sense either...
We will see.
Are there any rumours besides Frohling and Jegdic about Dresden?
I really hope they manage to finde a really good OH.

Annick Meijers will go to a belgian team. She already signed the contract before she went to Dresden.

With the performance she showed in the playoffs I think she could do better but maybe she doesn't want to convert to OPP...

I told a few earlier but for those who care, Simone Lee and Kayla Haneline will be with the USA NT this summer

From my point of view, the VBL press release “90 Teams stellen Antrag für eine Lizenz in der Volleyball Bundesliga für die Saison 2023/24” published yesterday evening surprised the licensing applications. Because the VCO Berlin has not registered for the 2nd Bundesliga Pro, but wants to continue in the 2nd Bundesliga North.
That's quite a blow for the prestigious project of the DVV if the VCO Dresden outranks them. But on the other hand, if you look at the performances this season, then you have to say that starting next season in the 2nd Bundesliga Pro would have been a suicide mission.
Otherwise there are no big surprises in the license applications. Personally, I think it's good to see that Nawaro Straubing could work out with a license in the 2nd Bundesliga Pro. If Nawaro got through the insolvency proceedings well, they could be a team alongside Black and White Erfurt that might be promoted back to the Bundesliga quite quickly.
