They’re good, individually they are strong and they combine well. Milojevic covers the court well and Jakasic’s distribution is good. The attackers are impressive and blocking, effective.
Everyone is looking forward to their match against Tianjin

Devastating….. hope she gets a rest… Her team will crumble without her of course but she alone has not been able to really make a difference because they have an ineffective opposite
She’s precious

Sichuan 3-2 Henan [20-25,25-22,26-24,17-25,16-14]
Miao Yi-wen (OH) 41, Yuan Guo (OH) 16, Wang Si-jia (MB) 11; Han Wen-ya (OH) 26, Duan Meng-ke (OP) 24, Mao Jun-yi (MB) 17 (14 blocks)
Miao Yi-wen: attack: 37/110, 8 errors, 11 blocked; 3 aces and 1 block
Mao Jun-yi: attack (not good) : 3/12, 1 error, 1 blocked; 14 blocks
110 attempts?! Hope Miao Yiwen's shoulder can last throughout the season.
Mao Junyi being better blocker than attacker still could be useful.

That’s amazing, and they are big swings too. I read from other V blogs/forums, that it could be a record of some sort, although I couldn’t find anything on number of spikes per match. There’s plenty of records on ‘fastest spike’ ...held by Egonu.

Wang Yifan is not playing, and that’s a concern
....but on the other hand if she is injured, even mildly, and they still ask her to play, that’s worse !

-
Wang Yifan came in to serve once during set 2....it’s hard to tell just from one service but she appears to be alright

She's playing now. Did she not start the match?

Indeed she is
and she's already making a difference..
she didn't start in set 1, and only came in to serve one time in set 2..

Liaoning scored 6 straight points

Guangdong just doesn’t have what it takes… I prefer to see more equal distribution of sets/points than just having one crazy high scorer (a la Miao) - it’s just not the way to build a team, plus it also shows subpar setting.
Not happy that FanFan was forced to play even after hurting her ankle not 24 hours ago. This coach is…
-
Yifan is not 100% today.....she’s holding back with her swings and is unusually subdued and quiet in the court. Most worrying is that, at the end of set 3 she had a slight limp when walking back to the bench.
One thing I don’t understand, CPY was doing alright in set 1, hitting from positions 2 and 4, yet in sets 2,3 she got so few sets compared to Li Yao and the replacement OH...Liaoning’s defenders read it and were waiting for them....
