The 2023 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship starts tomorrow in Vietnam. China is represented by Liaoning Donghua Women's Club. A few familiar faces...Duan Fang, Hu Mingyuan, Xu Jianan and Ding Xia are not in the team, but Sun Haiping and Shi Bingtong are. Hisamitsu from Japan and Diamond Food from Thailand are strong contenders for the title, with the main challenge coming from Altay of Kazakhstan, Liaoning and 'Vietnam Sports Centre'...comprising the Vietnam NT players.

By the way, I think Sun Xiao-xuan (No.4) could join NT although in fact, she has been weaker than Miao Yi-wen because she doesn't play the match as an OH.

I haven't seen too much of Sun XiaoXuan lately, but 2 seasons ago, she was very impressive as Opposite..she can spike quite strongly !
Liaoning wasn't really tested with this easy win today.

I even think men's NT is better than women's NT.
Zhang Zhe-jia was injured for many times.
Rao Shu-han didn't play the international matches for 3 years.
Zhang still got No.12 and Rao got No.20 again this year.

Yes she wasn't at VNL.
Her lower body has had their fair share of injuries, knee/foot. She wore that thick knee brace for a couple years and combine that with China's ineffective rehabilitation practices plus excessive training that'll just result in early retirement. Was hoping she would return, but at this point it's far-fetched.

I saw that post about China training way ahead fo everyone elese? Like maybe a month ahead? Insane.
