Considering that Supercup is on 22. September the new season beginning the following week on 27. Or 28. September is completely comprehensive.

Next to Janiska, Jimerson and Frohling also Timmer, Jasper, Jegdic, Berger and Boonstra will leave Dresden.
I'm surprised Berger leaves as well.
Will Dresden manage to get some german players as well? Any rumours?
-
I'm surprised Berger leaves as well.
Well, Alex Waibl explains why. Lara probably wanted a starting place guarantee and Dresden couldn't guarantee her that. Hence the change. I could well imagine her in Aachen or as a possible Rapacz replacement in Wiesbaden.

Link for Waibl statement: Kadernews: Personalentscheidungen beim Dresdner SC sind gefallenI remember his statements about Berger that nobody worked with her before and he will make her a top player…
Now he doesn’t trust her for line up in this Dresden who fights to be every year in semifinals?
He is a great talker but imo he is a bad coach. -

He is a great talker but imo he is a bad coach.I understand the criticism and definitely agree with it. If you're honest, he praises every talent he brings from the VCO Dresden to the professionals. And for most of those who are not great talents like Sarah Straube, Camilla Weizel or Monique Strubbe, their first professional contract is not extended and the players sink, perhaps a little exaggeratedly, into obscurity.

After the departures were announced in the last few days, Dresdner SC today announced a contract extension. Nathalie Lemmens (or called Nathalie Lemmers twice by DPA ) extended her contract in Dresden. Larissa Winter also remains as the second setter.

As in Stuttgart just three players staying - at least so far.

Actually four and probably even five. Lotte Goertz signed a two-year contract last year. And unlike Lara Berger and Famke Boonstra, she wasn't mentioned as leaving yesterday. So she should stay. In addition, Lena Linke was not mentioned as leaving yesterday either. Since, as far as I know, her contract ends this season, we have to wait for the extension to be announced. But I assume it will come.

According to this article Linke also has a contract until 2025.

True. I did some quick research again: Lena Linke had signed a three-year contract for the 2022/23 season and not a two-year contract, so she also has one year left on her contract.

Guessing the outcome of the final series: Stuttgart is the stronger team with better roaster than Schwerin, the latter will IMHO not be capable to turn it by winning the first right to play at home by a tiny margin. I think, Stuttgart will win the final series in three or four matches.
-
First final match today 17:00 CET Schwerin vs Stuttgart stream
Second match on Wednesday will only be available as pay per view
As for the favourite role, IMO it's 60:40 for Stuttgart. Schwerin is a team that must never be underestimated, but if Stuttgart plays their best it will be hard for Schwerin to win three matches. Either way I hope for an interesting and high level series with more than three matches
-
What an amazing first set by both teams, very high level and so many intense rallies!
Susan Schut has been such a great discovery by Koslowski, even though she made a crucial mistake in the end it's amazing how she managed to arrive on this level in just three months! Stuttgart puts a lot of pressure on her with serves but so far she's holding up, I thought with all their injuries OH2 would be a much bigger issue for Schwerin.
-
Segura retiring is such a waste, IMO this season has been the best of her career at least among the years she played in Germany. She could be very valuable for a few more years I think
-
No doubt that the both right teams are in the finals.
-
Rivers being subbed out is something you don't see that often But Schwerin scouted her very well certainly.
-
Schwerin Dambrink looks quite good today/when she's not overloaded with sets!
