maybe who knows?
Well only them.. I wanted to point out that they for sure could've have beaten DR with 3:0, 3:1 in regards to the previous post for that Dominican guy

You are funny

Turkey got lucky....Dominican Republic was kicking their behind until Bethania De la Cruz started to have problems with her ankle and a muscle on the upper part of the right leg....

I didn't say they weren't. Bulgaria won against Brazil and then lost to DR. That makes DR better than Brazil right?! However not my point.. my point was that Turkey is/was not playing like they can so no need for whys and ifs.. well see in ECH
Did you really write that Signorile is better than Lo Bianco?
I wrote I like much more watching Signorile than Leo Panda.
I didn't say that Dominican Republic is better that Turkey at all.
My point is that DR had played good volleyball during this tournament.
The only bad game that they had so far was the game against Serbia. Other than that Dominican young players are doing a good job against team that traditionally had shown better level than us.
Don't forget that Dominican Republic on the under 18 world championship sent Turkey packing back home.
Is there a pattern here?
I don't know
Yeah sure, DR made a very good job against our under 18 team with their under 21 NT

I don't think anyone will contradict you here. Just the way you present your arguments makes it all look different. A little more modesty could help...
Oh, and which "young players"? Vargas is over 30, Rivera 29, Bethania 26, Echenique and Mambru 27, and Castillo and Fersola only themselves know their true age but we can be pretty sure that Castillo is 24 and not 21 Not a that young team...
21 or 24 what difference does it make? she is the best Libero regardless of her age.
Take away Prisilla, Annerys, Karla and Bethania an everybody else is under 23 years old......pretty young for anyone standard.
I will ignore your comment about Brenda, because there is not point talking about things that you don't know.
Modesty is my second name.
But that doesn't mean that I will not say that the dominican volleyball team is making some people look like fools here with their comments.
If the hat fits, put it on your head.... I mean if you have one!!
By the way, Italy better get ready for tomorrow
Or they might have nightmares after the game.
poor ebata,,setter gives her an ugly set and she she gets benched instead of the setter
risa aint excellent after all,, i wish sakoda is playing,,
USA´s defensa looks much better in this match.
Harmotto is blocking almost everything
Btw, after the good match Dominican Republic played yesterday and this italian team with some subs, the caribbeans should win
USA with 13 blocks against Czech Republic in 3 sets last night. 16 blocks so far through 3 sets tonight.
my goodness, how many hitting errors for hildebrandt and hill?????? way too many...
why is it so hard to stop nagaoka??????
Nagaoka is attacking a slightly odd angle due to the left handed swinging. This makes the block a little early or late because blockers are used to watching a right handed hitter.
This is disturbing that Nagaoka has 12 points in less than 2 sets of play, while Saori has 12 in 4 sets.
What a rally at 13-17 in the 4th set.
Miyashiro with a 5-dig rally and Japan somehow still got the point
USA 3-1 Japan
This match had a very different look from most other matches with both teams pushing the tempo in offense and transition.
Some great digs from both sides, too.
USA with 20 blocks for the night.
As a side note, it's 3 weeks into the tournament and the travel may be starting to show. USA's younger players look a bit ragged. Need to put it all together against Bulgaria.
Just when I wanted to point out that Tamari is way better than Kayla Branwarth there she is getting the mvp of the match.. Branwarth is not bad but Tamari is better in reception and mostly defense..

I think Banwarth can be quite good. Miyashiro is clearly ahead of experience at this point. Who knows what 2+ years will bring.
If USA can have 3-4 liberi in the gym pushing each other through RIo, that would be good for the program. Quality liberi have been hard to come by...
why?
yesterday, I'm not seen the game.
she is injured?
today is out for match??
