Haven't watched the match too carefully, but it sounds like Kurek and Kubiak have swapped positions several times when both of them are in the front row in order to have Kurek blocking Wallace. It works!

Douglas seemed nervous in the beginning, but then the setters ignored him too much IMO. Bruno isn't distributing well at all...
-
Why does Kubiak have to provoke, like what's the reason.. he starts starring and shouting across the net for no reason.. like that last point in this set, Wallace got blocked by Kurek, and KubiaK is shouting something over the net
-
I’m pretty sure he just wished them good luck
-
Drzyzga has been playing great so far.
-
Kurek has really transformed into a different player! Not only is he using full advantage of his height and reach, he's playing smart with few mistakes as well.

His time in Greece made me change my mind about him. There's a lot more calm in his decisions that I've ever seen from him.
Coupled that with Heynen's virtually organized defense and quick attack transition. It feels like we've already found a winner.
I hope Brazil can still turn this around but they are in too many out of system moments and they are lacking another OH who can be a high ball solution because Wallace and maybe Douglas are not enough.
-
Brazil plays like they are winning and is Poland who has to try new things to revert the score. Unfortunately, is exactly the opposite
-
Folks, none of the players who deserves an award will get it. Maybe one or two will get it but corrupted FIVB will find a way to give it. I know you mean well but FIVB does not.
-
After what Renan did in Russia did, I wish Brazil wouldn’t even get to the final so although I’m not a big fan of Poland and Heynan, I hope Poland will get it.
-
Brazil is outplayed in ball control by their opponent. That's a rarity, and you can see how their play is affected by this intangible pressure.
-
Brazil isn't even playing really bad, it's just that Poland plays better.
-
Kurek is playing for his life! Definitely the MVP if Poland confirms the victory.
For Brazil, feel sorry for Douglas, who is playing a good match. I just hope William starts 3rd set, I think is Brazil’s last chance
-
You all know I always joke about Kurek, but he has to be the MVP. He's playing the tournament of his life.

Juantorena may retire from NT.

-
It's time to say goodbye to Bruno. William is much better setter, more criative and plays smart. And Brazil wants to win without block, its so stupid

I do joked about him too but he already improved in VNL final. I thought he scored the a lot of points against Russia. It was only a matter of time he'll get to his previous form before the infamous polish meltdown in world cup 2015 because as scarpetta have said.He had a light club season to prepare for the nt season.

William is 40 years old or close to it though.

Was he resting for injuries during the clubs season?
