Anderson is still invisible.
I wouldn't call 15/30 in attack "invisible".

I mean invisible when it comes to crucial/very important points!
Where is Muserskij? Is he injured?

He was cut in the final roster. The reason is yeah, he's "injured"
Congratulations team USA, would have been a true SHAME leaving Rio empty handed
I can't believe USA made 25! service errors.. Congrats to them
Despite all the troubles Russia had, doping scandal, injuries, 4th place is OK for them.
If they had Muserskij I'm sure they would have won this bronze at least.

Were the ace and the last attack enough to satisfy you?
Congrats USA!!
I think Mikhaylov is one of the most underrated players ever. Both in national team and club team always someone gets the spotlight despite his brillant performance (Muzerskiy in olympic final, Leon in CL final). Despite being seriously injured, he gave his all but it was not enough.
OMG! What a feeling!
This is a really big emotion. We made it to the podium in Rio. I always knew we could be way stronger in Tokyo, since many players in this team have 1/2 years playing abroad and I had no trust in Anderson as a leader, but we made it. Amazing.
Anderson 1987
Russell 1993 (1 season pro)
Sander 1992 (2 seasons pro)
Lee 1982
K. Shoji 1987
Priddy 1977
Troy 1989
Jaeschke 1993 (1 season pro)
Christenson 1993 (1 season pro)
Holt 1987
Smith 1985
E. Shoji 1989
Most of them can actually make it for another OG cycle.
And there are talents who can take the spots left by Lee, Smith, Priddy and so on. This is a great result. As great as Lang Ping's gold medal with her team.
Thank you, guys!
And these 2 will be really missed.
Were the ace and the last attack enough to satisfy you?
Please, seriously? After giving an olympic final to Italy with 2 spikes out in a row on the 23-20 and 23-21 in the fourth set? Or do I need to remind the candy he served in the italian court under pressure? 1/7 in the tie break of the SF? No way Wa make break points with the OHs (pipe) or the MBs (blocks or 7) most of the time. I can't trust this guy. I'm sorry.
Great comeback by the USA men from 2-0 down today. Priddy in his final match was the spark plug for the final 3 sets.
David Lee as well in his final match too, blocking as well.
I know that bronze was not color that I expected for them, before the tournament, but with everything that has happened in these last two weeks, bronze is a great reward.
I don't think David Lee will retire from the team yet. Atleast based in this https://twitter.com/FIVBVolleyball/status/767376399204229120

Oh my! Yeah!

I see him as one of the best OP in the world. Murzersky got the spolight in the OG fianl, because he trutly changed that game upside down.
Mikahaylov is one of my favorite players and by far my favorite Russian.
Im impressed with EGOR KLIUKA, only 21 and he will stay on the NT for years to come for sure.
Oh my! Yeah!
Congrats to Team USA, a well deserved medal.
Would have loved to see old chap Tetyukhin finishing NT career with a medal round his neck but he is one of the greatest anyway, with or without medal .

So far it's old, horrible Italy at the Olympic games
