Today we were missing already two starting six players: Rivers and Lohuis.
Yeah, but she said roster.

ooooo true.
Stanford duo** lol
Hope Hentz continues to play pro and improve.
Krystal Rivers officially has "health problems" but there are no details yet. She's not even in the hall
According to Stuttgarter Nachrichten she has an infection with high fever (no Covid) and currently she's in the hospital. The chances that she'll be able to play on Saturday are very low.
I really hope it's nothing severe!
Annegret Hölzig leaves Sttaubing and will most likely play for Schwerin next season.

Not sure f that is a good move...she probably won't be a starter...

I think it's quite smart. Ruddins and Alsmeier both are not the most solid receivers and Hölzig can be a very good backup for them! I'm sure she'll be much more helpful for Schwerin than Oude Luttikhuis and Jatzko and throughout the season she'll definitely get her time on court.
Highlights of game 4:
No surprise.
Neuhaus, Bjerland and Schultz Are leaving.
But Wiesbaden tries to keep Justine Wong-Orantes.
Wong-Orantes' agency lists her as signed for next season with club TBA, so if Wiesbaden right now writes that they're in negotiations with her it probably means she's confirmed. Would be very good news for Wiesbaden!
Jegedic stay in Potsdam untill 2023

I was hoping she'd move up to one of the better teams
Any German teams interested in Gabby Curry?
Any German teams interested in Gabby Curry?
Probably can't spark too much interest while she's still playing... I'm not 100% sure if she wants to go pro anyways

Considering that the better teams mostly confirmed their liberos I think she'll be fine with Wiesbaden. They're actually a club with high ambitions but made many bad choices, probably also due to lack of money, in the last few seasons. But now they signed a good coach and I hope they'll build a good team for next season.
5th and decisive Championship match Dresden vs Stuttgart tomorrow 14:00 on Sport1
There have been no further news about Rivers, but if she was in hospital on Wednesday I don't see how she could possibly play volleyball tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Stuttgart's ex-coach Athanasopoulos will be coach of Vasas Budapest next season.

Empirically there was no such thing as home advantage so far in the final series, due to the absence of spectators in the hall IMHO. Therefore this match today is wide open and completely unpredictable.
Stuttgart again without Rivers and Dresden without Hentz and Linke.
Stuttgart starts with the formation that finished on Wednesday, i.e. Segura as OPP and Papafotiou as setter.
If Dresden wins the title many people will say they only did because of Rivers' absence but I think that's not fair. They showed in the first three matches already that they're on the same level IMO.
