do you think he'll stay another 3 years?
yes. He'll be there as long as he wants to. USAV is content.

We all knew it was time to move on from Lloyd
I'm not hardcore informed but I didn't get that memo. I liked her because she played defense

You like everyone who plays defense
She's just not a great setter. It should've been Carlini there starting.
-
Lloyd was really good before her shoulder injury. She was a phenomenal blocker as well.
-
I loved Lloyd...she was one of my favorite setters a few years ago

This. I get that people aren't a fan of hers these days, but they act like she was never good and that's simply not true lol

People once hated Carlini now they seem to love her. The same happens with several other players.

I feel like Lloyd got in over her head too much and too often especially when she became the starting setter for USA post-Rio. It probably didn’t help that Karch was probably more rigid and less flexible when it came to the type of offense he wanted to run then. WCH ‘18 was the final nail in the coffin.
I liked how athletic and physical she was despite not being too tall. Loved watching her play in the ‘16 Club World Championships tournament.

I remember Molly Kreklow too...she was good and then something happened. I don't know what.

she's shady. she's coaching at a university now (with her husband) and they got some.... um.... not great things said about them from the Puerto Rican players

Karch’s tenure is characterized by a high turnover of setters. His two Olympic quads didn’t/will not have a returning Olympian at setter (Courtney Thompson doesn’t count lol)

It would be interesting to see what would've happened if Glass had continued.

Don't even remind me of Glass. She killed us in 2014 with those settings. I have nightmares till this day lol
