Japan - V.League V1 (Division 1, Women) 2022-2023

  • Fukazawa doesn't seem like she's going to become a fan favorite

  • Crazy Miyashita digs :cheesy:

  • Kurobe even had 14-12 I think and failed to close the match a couple of times! I almost thought they are going to lose. I'm so happy for them!

it looked like they were going to turn into Kurobe

That tie break was a heavy load

  • I didn't think Nakajima would get any playing time this year. She's hitting pretty well

  • SAGA sucked all the way to a win

  • Three Tie Breakers tonight :drink: Four if you count the Hitachi 3–1 Denso match. That felt like a Full Set

Hitachi's Hawi/Irisawa together were wall-ish. That could become Hitachi's thing. 5 and 4 blocks isn't a ton but it's enough to make the other team worry about it

Kurobe's defense, the first sign of a team getting it's shit together, and Pimpichaya in BCS mode . Good times

  • Saitama top of the league with 0 set losses. At this rate, those 3-0 wins will keep them ahead of teams on points or sets ratio down the line.

Every team minus Saitama have gone 5 at least once already and we are only 3 matches into the season.

Hitachi with 2.83 blocks per set leading the league.

  • I feel like Kurobe just won the Championship

  • Maybe Gio cut Tuğba from NT because she was getting bad after all :rolll: I hope she grows into her role though still over time, we know that she can do better than the stats I'm seeing... Let's just hope she was lifting or something lol

I'm not worried about Tugba yet, but not impressed either. She seems the most culture shocked of the imports, gamewise

If she finds her rhythm Kurobe will be unstoppable :super:
