Saga's platinum fc members already knew Ishii is retiring it was included in their notice or whatever
now it's real
-
I wouldn't be surprised if she's getting married too
-
I'm rooting for Ageo to win the championship but if Saga ends up winning it then let Ishii have it. It feels a little weird that she's really retiring. I'm thinking that maybe Uchiseto or Yamagishi will also retire after this.
-
Sanae retiring?
-
😔
-
Did she play at all this season? I don't remember seeing her. I wonder if she was already experiencing hearing issues while still in Okayama?
-
Toe, Misaki Inoue and Akari Shirasawa are also set to "retire". Mana is definitely retiring.
I can't read the full pdf but Misaki and Shirasawa are probably requesting to transfer there's no way those 2 are actually retiring
-
Not Toe and Inoue omg why Inoue why
-
Holy shit I don't like that Inoue is going. The only other setter after Sakae is Mandai. They gotta get another good setter.
-
HANG ON
I thought y'all said Van Hecke isn't renewing shouldn't they be announcing her too???

They should steal Shibata
Btw does anyone know when Shibata and Arisa Inoue are going back to Japan?

No one here said that. It's those users in the transfer thread.

Is that even possible? isn't she still with JT? I was thinking maybe another highschool setter. I like Mandai a whole lot but I'm worried that she might've already regressed. The few times she did play her toss was sloppy as hell.
-
the only thing left for saga to do is to win this championship. ishii and toe are leaving. nagaoka's first time participating after so many years and her return to the nt. they have to win at all cost. it's going to be an entirely different club by next season.

The end of an era for sure. It ends with Ishii. Next season will be a new chapter. New arena, new hierarchy, new reputation.
I'm one of the few who wants Sakai gone but that's too much of a change.
-
Is Arisa Inoue is returning to Saga next season? They'll have too many attackers with 2 mediocre setters and 1 really good libero with another unknown libero ikeya who hasn't been used in 2 seasons.
Nishimura's timing with this team is too good to be true. She just joined the team and with her success Toe really said sayonara it's her role now.

Saga's Black Eagle Flag starters will most likely be the same as their Asian Club Championship squad

I just checked Kumagai and saw that she ended up in Tsukuba. Tsukuba's coach is a joke. It definitely kills any expectations for players transitioning to pro.
