does playing in europe next season prevent Zhu from playing in the Olympics?

Will she join the NT to play in the OQs? we don’t know the answer. We hope she will, but there’s no confirmation from the Chinese Volleyball Association. Playing in Europe shouldn’t prevent Zhu from playing in the Olympics, but it’s too early to tell whether she will or not.

I wish we could give you more definitive answers to both questions. but as of now we ourselves are waiting for some good news

I wonder what happened to Chen Xiyue? She's in the 2005 age group and even was on the VNL wide roster, but her name didn't appear on the U21 training list. Hopefully it's not injury related.

Chen Houyu from Shanghai is also in the 2005 category and worthy of a roster spot.

Ding Xia has returned to the training camp of Chinese NT in Zhejiang.

Her surname, Tom, is almost proved to be Tan (谭) in Mandarin Chinese.

In the history, we guess Logan's surname might be Tang (汤), Tang (唐) or other words hearing like "Tom".

Many players of mixed ancestry will usual play for the country of their birth (their original nationality) if they are in the A team and their country (countries) belongs to the developed countries. Seldom these A players switch to lesser developed country (countries) where they have dual citizenship. The Philippine women soccer NT are mostly composed of dual citizenship players. They are not in the A team of USA NT. They have Philippine connections (they have parent (s) or grandparent(s) who was a Filipino (former citizen). I think it is ok for these dual citizenship players to play for the other half of their citizenship if they have blood or birthplace connection. But to grant citizenship to a A player without birthplace or blood connection is kinda like like cheating and not fair play.

Zhu Xiao-ru was the main setter of Zhejiang female VC.

Ma Fang is her junior sister (Chinese: 师妹).

One of Ma Fang's student is Wang Na.

They are all former setters of Chinese women's NT.
