Letting Seki run all the way for second ball... Idk what Nishimura is thinking
Japan Women's NT 2023
-
-
I thought Nishimura is the best receiver in japan. Better than Shinabe
-
I can't explain it because I'm not too bright but my peeps are telling me it's no problem for Japan
if you win you get points and if you lose, you drop points. 20 points is essentially +10 Japan win and —10 China loss

What do you mean?
-
If japan loses are there any chance to qualify for the Olympics? Is it close to impossible to catch up with china in points?
they should be fine as long as manabe doesn't overuse koga when she's in bad shape / exhausted. this is not koga and team he should bear that in mind. it's the you need to save this sinking ship.
-
The chokers in this team. the 2 Liberos, Koga, and Seki.
Hayashi, Ishikawa(last game), Watanabe, Yamada, Inoue, Koga did the best this OQT. From Manabe's preference, I think Seki is definitely making it. I think Araki and Shibata would claw their way in - especially Shibata who batted during their crucial games vs BRA. I do not which liberos are making it but I think Yuka Meguro might make it. Tanaka, Miyabe, the two liberos and Irisawa are not that safe.
The tragedy here is that they lost during reception yet again. -

She did break Shinnabe's Club season record last year, if that's what you're referring to
-
What if Zhu Ting comes back Japan is doomed
-
What do you mean?
There was a moment where she could've had second ball to bump set the OH, but she let Seki get it who was far from the ball

At this moment, I think Hayashi is the best reciever of JPN.

Girl no. Who told you that
-
I just moved to europe and became a fan of the 2012 line up. I just wanna see them play in person. Hoping to see them in Paris!

I thought you were talking about match point

Girl no. Who told you that
From the v league stats. She beat Risa's record.

Setter position for Japan is still going to be a question mark. Seki is better than Matsui, but the size problem with the setter always puts them at a disadvantage.
Libero is one where there are plenty of options but at times the serve reception of them was not great against Brazil and Turkey.
Inoue is always going to be a tough fit. Doesn’t pass well enough as Hayashi or Ishikawa. But can’t take her instead of Koga at times.
Watanabe and Yamada are your starting middles going forward and they still need to feed them more on free balls.
-
True, Watanabe and Yamada too has a great running spike that JPN refuses to use during crucial moments.
-

Can't really talk about people who didn't get a chance to make a mistake in front of everyone. It's not fair
-
Sorry but Seki is just not good enough and she always cracks under pressure resulting in bad placement. Miyu couldn't even get her feet off the floor because of how wonky Seki's tosses are.

That's my pet peeve. Hate when it happens . I'd rather an OH stepped in and set it back to the setter and let the setter attack

how did momii do during the asian championships did anyone watch?
