I feel a bit bad for Lavarini. You don't see often someone achieveing a domestic double and yet being sacked because of a golden set lost after a match played without probably your most charismatic player. I'm a bit surprised about the awards for Vargas, she looked quite far from the superb form she had last summer.

Well, looks like another year in the book! It is very encouraging for Turkish NT to see how Eda, Asli playing in the middle, Karakurt, Ilkin and Hande for OH position (granted Karakurt is doing well in Russian league, she is been the best scorer and all, but I don’t know how playing well in that league would translate in Turkish or Italian league). Gizem for libero and of course Vargas for Opp. Vargas may still need little more time!!

call me crazy but I believe in ecza next year. Maybe Plummer can change it up and they are getting closer every year. If they get a better foreign middle for next year I think they can do it

Kathryn is definitely upgrade, but so many things are wrong in eczacibasi. They should sign another defensive outside along hande to switch plummer when her reception gets weak. Next, they should get top middle because beyza is not enough, especially for european matches. I thought they would sign Butigan, 2nd best blocker of italian league but girl is going to Firenze. There are no options left. If Naz is staying she should learn to set Boskovic, because they can't count on Elif always as we saw today. The only good thing they did for next year is getting reserve player for Boskovic.

I don't know which middles are going to be in roaster next season for milano, but if kurtagic spends a lot of time on bench, eczacibasi should get her mid season.

Previously i had said eda is seldom a factor in blocking. Today she was amazing. I hope she keeps giving us such performances. I love when an mb does her primary task at near perfection.

I called for Aleksic a few months ago and now girl is best blocker in Italian league, she would fit so well in Ecza imo.
Kurtagic has much higher ceiling and she is HUGE potential but idk if she is better then Aleksic now.. however it could be nice investment for Ecza to get long term player, she is gonna be big no doubt about that. Furthermore, they are always gonna have place for foreign MB with their current squad structure- Elif, Hande, Jack are gonna be starters for next few seasons and even if Simge retires they are not getting foreign libero anyways.
Kurtagic or Julia K would be amazing options for Ecza to solve their MB problem for next 5+ years if not decade.
They should absolutely get Bengisu to the team asap.
