Oh the irony, Jaja left Ageo to win the championship with JT, Ageo is trying to win it all and will try to bump JT and Jaja along the way. Looks like #2 NEC had an easier path compared to JT. Was it worth it to be 22-0 and #1? It will be a bitter pill to swallow if JT doesn't get the invite to the dance.

Toyota is not gonna win against NEC and neither was Saga anyway. More importantly they don't heavily rely on Dani. NEC's rotation is completely different and they have better subs to outgun Ageo, Saga and Denso. Anything can happen but if JT doesn't follow through with championships well that's definitely the fault of the coach. They have a full arsenal.
Saga is not fortified. They wasted their money on Hanai and the Thai player I forgot her name but absolutely useless and they made the Japanese American setter their translator way to fuck up their roster.

JT is so loaded in all positions specially the wings. Having 5 local OH/Opp players in the National Team wide roster is crazy imo.
On the other side of it though, when they all go to the training camp, they only have 1 winger left - Koyama. I remember this year, JT even pulled out Nishikawa and Tanaka in the NT training camp for some days just to play Kurowashiki because they don't have players left
This is JT's season and it will be such a letdown if they don't get the championship.

No. I see Japanese fans asking about it on JT's social platforms too. I assume it's a slump judging by the in and out pattern but she could've been mildly injured and is taking it easy. I've caught her in one game this year and only because sitenoise pointed it out lol she looks like she's in good shape though.

JT's setters are all very capable even their newest one whose name I still don't know so Momii in this situation isn't necessarily a need. When Shibata was still around I've always leaned more towards her skills minus her odd defense than Seki or Matsui.

Kurogo is not yet at full power she's playing it safe but at least she looks happier now. She used to look a bit stressed out at Toray when things start to go south. Good for her

This might be the best she's looked ever. Much more calm. It would've been a disaster if she was forced to stay at Toray to continue carrying that team when she herself is still at the "my pace" level

Seki said in one of her statements about leaving Toray to play overseas is that she feels at her age she has to keep up with the demand for change. But I think she's forced or wants to escape all the dedicated highschool fans of the rookies that blamed her for everything this season. That's the only thing I find annoying about V League and is most likely also the reason why a lot of players retire so early.
Toray flopping = they lost all their experienced players
Saga flopping = they don't develop their young players
