  • Poland's wide roster

Setter: Wiktoria Zagumny, Aleksandra Walczak, Klaudia Czerwik, Pola Janicka

MB: Natalia Kecher, Magda Stambrowska, Edyta Wacławczyk, Justyna Jankowska

Opp: Olga Musiał, Zofia Brzoza, Patrycja Majos, Amelia Kowalska, Maja Gulka

OH: Julia Lenik, Karolina Staniszewska, Oliwia Pietrzak, Patrycja Łagida, Julia Kleszcz, Natalia Bandurska, Natalia Dróźdż

    L: Magda Kubas, Klaudia Łyduch

  • Fun fact, Sonja Danilović (OH) one of the girls from the list is a daughter of former serbian basketball player and twice European champion with national team, Predrag Saša Danilović.

Along to that she is also a sister of serbian tennis player Olga Danilović.

And next to that famous familiar related facts, she is great great prospects, she have just 14yo and she was on the list for senior national team preparation in UB, also she will play in serbian champion Tent in the next season. I am sure that she will be in 12 for this competition.

    This is my prediction:

    s: Mandović, Baic

    opp: Zelenovic

oh: Uzelac, Danilović, Ivanović, Mateška, Tomić (also most of this girls can play as opp)

    mb: Kurtagić, Šućurović, Jaramazović

    lb: Pakić

  • Italy's wide roster:

Setter: Giulia Orlandi, Viola Passaro, Letizia Badini

MB: Greta Catania, Giulia Polesello, Matilde Munarini, Nausica Acciarri, Islam Gannar

    Opp: Giulia Ituma, Marina Giacomello.

OH: Sara Bellia, Manuela Ribechi, Anna Piovesan, Alice Trampus, Dominika Giuliani

L: Emma Barbero, Benedetta Marcon, Benedetta Salviato

Actually not sure about Manuela Ribechi position, she always played as OH but for what I know she was transitioning to Libero, but considering there's other 3 liberos on the wide roster and just 4 more OH she probably will keep playing as OH for now

  • ribechi is best player from italy

A pity that she's too short

I see giacomello and catania as great prospects

Ituma aswell, I believe she's going to be the starter not Giacomello

Yeah, it's really a pity with Ribechi, if she was just a bit taller she would have the stuff to become a great complete OH, but I'm sure she's going to make a great libero aswell.

  • SportKlub TV, states that Germany, due to the fear of the players' parents, will not perform at the upcoming European Championship for girls under 17.

Anyone some official news / denials.

No official news yet, but the U18 girls already didn't participate in their ECH, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's true. Boys are/were participating in both age categories though, so it doesn't seem to be a general decision by the federation...
